I use a Staraptor similar to this as a lead. I love using him!

Your Staraptor is good but I would switch quick attack with Toxic (like how i did mine).

One thing, I would put 4 EVs into HP for a tiny bit more bulk, but meh... And since your Staraptor is scarfed, having Quick Attack is rather pointless, so I would use something like Double-Edge, especially since Reckless helps it.

I agree with this... I always find Toxic to be more useful than Quick Attack.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but that thing is Scarfed... So Toxic means you have to switch out if you use it, when you could stay in and use something better against it. And also, based on the moveset, it looks like that thing wants to get some OHKOs or get outta there ASAP.

I agree with choice scraf its boosts speed but it only allows you to use 1 move. I would give it a flying gem instead of a choice scarf so I can use more of its moves.

The only problem is that Staraptor has a base 100 speed, so quite a few of Staraptor's threats move faster than it. For example, if Weavile was carrying one of the more powerful Ice-type moves, it could OHKO a Flying Gem Staraptor, while Staraptor could OHKO it with Close Combat if it had a Choice Scarf. I wouldn't rule out a Flying Gem, but I just don't think its the best item for this bird.
