Hello, LV community, nice to meet you all! I'm still fairly new here, so I have decided to make a Q&A thread because I wanted you guys to get to know me on a more personal level outside of an introduction and I thought it would be cool.

My answer will depend on your question. Ask away! =^)

@[member="Synerjee"] My name comes from an old anime that used to air on television years ago, on Toonami, which you are probably familiar of. There used to be a show on there called Zatch Bell–"Konjiki no Gash Bell" in Japanese–one of the characters on the show were named Yopopo. Yopopo could only say variations of his name, and he'd often sing a song that went "Yoppo poy, Toppo poy, Suppo Po Poy!" I thought the song was very catchy, and I'd always hum it. The song was stuck in my head, so I eventually came up with the name Yoppopopoy.

If I honestly had to describe myself in three words, then they would definitely have to be eccentric, lazy, and creative.

Eccentricity - I like to think that I'm pretty weird and there's this thing that I like say, "A world without weird would be very boring." People like to say that they are normal, but they could never give me a solid definition of what "normal" is; furthermore, I like to think that everyone is different in their own way.

Laziness - Believe it or not, I am a very lazy person at heart. I love to embrace it because that's just how I am. It's not that I'm a person who doesn't like to do things, I'm just not very interested and can't be bothered to do most things. Me being lazy is more of an appreciation than a hindrance. I just selectively choose to do certain things that I like; an example of this is writing a 10 page paper vs. writing 15 pages of Pokémon analysis. I would hate doing a 10 page paper for English class, but I'd love doing a 15 page paper containing dozens of Pokémon analysis heh. I also love to sleep (:^D).

Creativity - This is one of the best qualities that you could have as a compliment for being very eccentric. I don't consider myself to be creative just for the fun of it, but I'd say it's a natural thing that came along with me as a child. I just notice that my ideas and thought processes seem to be a lot different than the people around me, but I honestly love that about myself. When I was a kid I would just sit in class and draw weird things just because. Weird things like drawing very detailed females with the tail of a Meowth; I just thought I was a "different" kid and nothing more. It could have been a combination of watching too much Pokémon and being a very artistic person.

Hope those answered your questions! =^)
@[member="Hydra"] Sorry, I completely missed your question about food. My sincere apology! My favorite foods are pie, pizza, and chicken. Pie is my top favorite one though, I'd love a nice classic apple pie right about now. ^_^

I'm honestly not a huge fan of gen 1 Pokémon, but I'd have to say that my favorite gen 1 mon is Raichu for sure. I just love that little thing. Staryu and Starmie are close though because I just love their designs and mysterious nature as Pokémon. =^)

I appreciate the questions guys! :D

:: When choosing to emphasize certain words or phrases of your own within a text, what method do you use? Do you use capital letters, italics, colour coding, things like that - or something else entirely?

:: I do notice your comment on your username (which is curiously off of a palindrome by 1 letter) that it is based upon Konjiki no Gash Bell. In that case, what is your opinion on this scene?

:: In what ways, or by what activities, do you relax your mind? Or, stated another way, how do you unwind?

Emphasis - I'd rather just stick to the rules of grammar. I typically avoid the use of random capital letters or anything else of that nature. I like to consider myself a grammar Nazi, but I don't like to come off as an arrogant and/or snooty one. That said, if I ever do correct anything then it's most likely myself. Don't get me wrong though, I do enjoy to spice things up a bit. If I do use emphasize, then it's just simple italics, or a very controlled amount of boldface formatting. Boldface is more of a "special occasion", so I'd usually avoid it unless I really need to show emphasis whether it's for a title, heading, or list. Color coding is also a rare use for me, I normally only use it to show negative (red) or positive (green) connotations for certain words and phrases.

Zatch Bell - I really loved that scene, but it quickly got a little annoying for me because I felt it was played too frequently throughout the episode that showcased it. The thought "Please, I just want to see the plot progress and it's distracting me from the current fight that should be taking place right now.", but I really enjoyed it for the most part. The scene definitely added a nice touch to Victoream's personality.

Relaxation - I'm honestly a naturally chill guy, so it doesn't really take much for me to feel relaxed or at ease. Since I'm typically really laid back, I'd rather just listen to chill music or watch videos to unwind. These videos usually consist of something like a "Top 15 Most Scariest True Stories" or ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) videos. As stated above in this thread and in my introduction, I really love to sleep and sloth around. Being a nonchalant and mellow guy is what I'm best at. =^)

.When comparing your favourite Pokémon game of all time and your favourite CoD game of all time (if you play CoD), which one would you prefer to play?

.Also, I was just wondering if TVG stood for anything, and if so, what does it stand for? :)

.Who/what would you say is your biggest inspiration in life/what are your plans for later life?

Musical Preferences - R&B is my favorite genre of music, but mostly the 90's stuff. I'm not that much of fan of the modern stuff because I feel it's not as good as the old stuff. I try to appreciate music that comes from all different walks of life, but I sadly cannot keep up with that standpoint sometimes because country music really doesn't suit me. I need it to be mixed with something else, not just raw country music; just make it sound pop-like or something.

LV Thoughts - I'm honestly liking the LV community a lot. I considered to give up on Pokémon Showdown, but ever since a friend of mine (@megamagikarp) told me to check this place out I've been loving it. I visited before when I was randomly browsing the web for Pokémon content, but I didn't give it much though back then. I've gotten quite use to this place and the people that inhabit it, I must say that there are really great users here. The sheer respect, kindness, and charisma that I've noticed here from the users has kept me satisfied. =^)
Favorite Games - My favorite Pokémon games are definitely RSE, and my favorite COD games are the Black Ops franchise. I don't know which one I'd pick to be honest with you, I like them both a lot. Let's just say I'd play both at once because I love them equally. :D

TVG - TVG is actually the initials for my name. It's a username that I've gotten use to and I've used it for so much other stuff. I guess I didn't use it for LV because I wanted to be different this time. You'll probably find out my nickname if you ever see @[member="Bryce"] greet me on the server. :^p

Inspiration - I don't think that I really have a person that I would call a role model because I'm normally not the type to idolize people in such a way that they have a significant influence on my life, but it is more of where I come from. My biggest inspiration is to make it out of where I live now. I guess you could call it the "ghetto", but I just want better opportunities for myself and to experience the finer things in life. I also aspire to travel to different places around the world, so that's something to look forward to. Finding a great girl in my life is something else I look forward to as well. =^)

Future Goals - I don't have any long term goals as of now, but my immediately goals are basically to finish my last month in high school (graduating senior), work during the summer to build up some cash for college, take the drivers' test, and then go off to college. All of that should happen in about a little over 3 months. I guess expanding my ignorant view of the world will be apart of my plans. ^_^

Leave your current room and take ten steps forward, then six to the left (if you can). What do you see? Can even be a wall!

What is your favorite movie genre?

How happy are you with your life at the moment?

Location Vacation - I actually didn't do it because I kind of can't right now, but if I did do it I'd end up in my sister's room looking at the side of her TV I guess? '~' That's a pretty interesting question you asked there heh.

Film Preferences - My favorite movie genre is definitely action (incorporated with a little adventure and/or comedy) as generic as that might seem. Just over the years when I have seen movies, the ones that I seem to favor always feature some kind of over the top fighting scenes or they have great sequential scenes that follow up with each other nicely. I haven't seen much movies lately, but movies like Salt, Mission: Impossible, 21/22 Jump Street, The Avengers, Taken, Hanna, X-Men, Fast Five, and many more. They have all appealed to me in some way that left me saying "I hope there's another part." or "Man that was great, I'd love to see it again." I hope that answers your question! =^)

Current Happiness - I'm not sure how to exactly answer that question, but let's just say that I'm the type of guy who doesn't really strive to achieve happiness so to speak. To me happiness is a state of mind that you willingly accept when you're content with someone or something, and I don't think that I have either of those yet. When I get somewhere better in life and I've experienced new and better things, then I guess I could accept a state of mind like that. For now I don't think I'm able to, but I'm trying my best to achieve better things so I could at least feel comfortable with my surroundings and adjust to a new lifestyle.

I don't really like to consider myself to be bored most of the time. As you probably know by now if you read my response about the traits about myself, I'm rather lazy. As long as I have enough to sloth around, relax and do whatever I want on my time, then I have no worries. The only time I really get bored is doing (tedious) stuff that I really don't like to do; going to school is a perfect example. My boredom is instantly killed when I leave school or finish whatever I don't like to do. XD

Having played both, I can oblige.

Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity play essentially the same. You can play with as few as 3 people, though ideally, the more people you have, the better.
Each player is dealt a set of 7 red cards (white cards in CAH). This becomes the player's hand. One player each round is designated as the 'judge', and is given a green card (black card in CAH). All the other players (i.e. not the judge) must play 1 card from their hand each, and hand them in secretly. The judge then reads all the submitted cards, and chooses the one they believe best fits the green/black card.

In Apples to Apples, the green card contains an adjective, and the red cards are all nouns. In Cards against Humanity, the black card contains a sentence with a word removed, and the white cards all attempt to fill in the blank. In either case the goal is to pick a red/white card that best matches - though, knowing the judge helps as well; you may know the judge will intentionally pick the most nonsensical result, for example! You must know both the other players and the judge well.

At the end of each round, each player draws a new card to replace the one played. The judge for the next round becomes the player on the previous judge's left. Play continues until a player has amassed a certain number of green/black cards, decided upon beforehand before the game starts.

Apples to Apples is marketed as a 13+ game (there is a children's version as well, for a younger crowd), while Cards Against Humanity is marketed as a 18+ game (and for good reason, I should add).

    Does this explanation satisfy you?
