8 Kalosian Gym Leaders from 8 Kalosian cities. Which one did you like best, and which one was just... meh? What made them memorable?

    RRRRRAMOS!!!

I loved Ramos. I don't know why though, he's just so... energetic and fun and I look forward to his gym, to his gym trainers and to him.

However I find Wulfric like he's shoehorned in at the end. In my opinion I would've preferred it if they dumped his gym closer to Olympia's as then it really gave the feeling of a final stretch.

[IMG]-Forgot her name. She was definitely memorable, she was the first fairy-type gym leader! Her design was pretty cool too and she had this perky vibe, it was kind of annoying but it was a really good personality for a fairy-type gym. I also really like her gym.

[IMG]He was too easy! His gym puzzle was so easy to beat, the only good thing about him is his design. I really don't like Wulfric but he seems like a nice guy, whenever he doesn't shout!

I actually quite liked Olympia. I like her gym and she was surprisingly formidable as a trainer. ...At least for me. Plus, she reminds me of Rose from Street Fighter.

I don't know, but I really don't like Grant's look, and I am not too wild on him breaking the tradition of the Rock gym always being the first one, especially since the first one is the highly underrated Bug Type gym.

Outside X and Y, Liza and Tate have my vote. It was a good idea to have a Doubles gym leader. ...But, like all Doubles fights in Ruby/Sapphire/OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire, they only had one Pokémon each. As a result, they were pretty much a joke. In fact, they were the easiest Trainer(s) to beat IN THEIR OWN FLIPPING GYM! In Emerald they did sort of fix this by giving them more Pokémon, but in OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire they went back to being a joke again!

I liked Clemont, because of the quiz-gym (also, his main Pokémon is Heliolisk ^^)

I didn't like Olympia. She was weird XD

Kalos' Gym Leaders weren't that terrible in my opinion, although none of them were much of a challenge. Viola kind of seemed as not much of a memorable gym leader for some reason. Most first gym leaders are easy to remember but I forgot her name until I looked it up. The only thing I remember from battling her was how ridiculous Infestation is at low levels. On the other hand, Olympia was probably the most memorable to me and probably my favorite out of them all. Her gym was gorgeous! I loved her design, her persona, and how elegant her battling team was. Power Gem Slowking was something that really took me by surprise!

I liked Olympia's gym the best. Pokémon tends to do a great job with psychic type gym designs, and she had some interesting Pokémon.

I think I liked Korrina's gym the least. Roller skate puzzles just don't really do it for me, I guess. And she was pretty easy to beat, though none of the gym leaders were ever really a challenge in X+Y. >.>

Gonna agree with people saying that Olympia's gym was awesome! I loved it, especially when you first enter and you take a couple steps and then it's like you're walking in the galaxy or something haha.

I didn't really like Wulfric because he wasn't a challenge. None of them were honestly, but Wulfric was the last gym leader so I had hoped he would have been stronger.

I have to say Ramos, I really like that guy so full of energy and I just love that he called you a whippersnapper. XD

As for worse I have to go with Wulfric, he got a nice design but that the only think he got going imo he's easily forgettable, easy fight and easy gym and the pain of having to got through a forest just to talk for 5 second before you can battle him. At least Olympia despite me often forgetting her name had a awesome gym that's hard to forget.

I really thought most of the Kalos Gym Leaders were mediocre at best, but one of the best leaders had to be Valerie, the Fairy-type gym leader. I think the fact that she was the leader of a newly introduced type made it a little harder since man people didn't have too much experience dealing with the type in general.

Olympia's gym was the only one that I still remember; I loved the layout and the design of the in-battle fields. I also liked that she used Sigilyph in her team, since I don't see them a lot and they happen to be one of my favorite Psychic-types. Overall, very pretty fight and character design! As far as a least favorite gym goes... I don't really have one for the Kalos region. But if I had to choose, maybe it'd be Viola's; she feels more like one of the generic trainers you'd fight on a route to another city than a gym leader, and if it wasn't for Infestation, the battle with her would've been just as easy.

Honestly, I found all of them forgettable besides Korina and maybe Clemont because of the anime. I wish they did a better job of building these characters like they did in B/W/B2/W2.

    Worst was Ramos BY far.
Far too easy and a fire type, even one on your team.
Makes him toast, no pun intended there.

    Best was Valerie or Clemont.
Clemont. I like the quizzes of his gym, plus heliolisk was a cool Pokémon. (frill necked lizards are native to Australia btw too)
Valerie was adorable, as were her Pokémon. : (Sylveon) <3

For me, I liked Valerie the most as her gym was fun and she embodied Kalos. However, Olympia was the worst. Way too forgettable and there weren't any fresh faced psychic types on her team to surprise us with.
