Hey so I'm deciding that I'm gonna start a large collection of poems, and I'm keeping them here. Since might be dark, I might even try for happy. Most of these poems will be me doing spontaneous writing so they may very in quality. Either way, do enjoy!


I am now hollow
Gently falling down my grave
Gone unnoticed by the masses
My light begins to fade

They tear me apart
Piece by piece
These voices won't silence
Because they're coming from me

Nowhere to run
No place to hide
So now I stay

Nobody to find
No love to be found
The light is away

 

The Cadence

Left, right. Left, right
Can you hear the beat?
One foot, two foot
Marching down the street

Left, right. Left, right
Time has never stopped
Tick, tock. Tick, tock
Running 'round the clock

Left, right. Left, right
No one guides the herd
Some stay, some stray
They all go unheard

Left, right. Left, right
Life goes marching on
Some walk. Some rot
Life still marches on

 

The Last Chapter

Our time has come to say goodbye
To close this book of fun and lies
A tale of growth that's old as time
Our time has come to live our lives

Steady your mind
Let your thoughts flow free
Forget your woes
Now listen to me

Picture the forest
Full of colors and lights
An untouched meadow
And the sounds of life

Now see a dark sky
With the stars so bright
The planets aligned
And the moon's just right

And now the ocean
With the water so blue
So vast and empty
Yet full of life too

Life's so serene
When you accept the obscene
The cogs own the scene
But life runs this machine

 

Much to do About Nothing

A man walks in
And orders a sin
He drinks from the glass
And reflects on his past

He sees his wife
The light of his life
As she fades away
On that fateful day

And so he drinks
He sits and he thinks
On the nothing he has done
And the nothing he's become

 

This is the song of a dying man
His hourglass is out of sand
He lived his life without a regret
And tells his family not to fret

Taken out while still in his prime
Something trivial, not to be bothered by

For his life was not grey, but instead bright and gay.
The lights of his day by his bedside and kept him at bay. While his life finally slips away.

In life's greatest offer of peace

Time not wasted
Sweet life that's tasted
And memories not yet tainted

All coming to an end


Hear his song, just one more time
His story was long. There's still life in his eyes
