    On the 27th of February, 1996, Pokémon Red and Green were released in Japan.
    Today, twenty years after that, we have many new Pokémon, six Generations (almost seven!), many spinoff series and more anime and manga episodes than I can count. I'm pretty sure Pokémon was or has been a pretty big thing in all of our youths. In short: Pokémon has brought all of us so much joy!

    Happy 20th birthday, Pokémon! May you continue to last for many years to come and may you continue to inspire people all over the world! :D
