In the spirit of the moment, I suppose I shall add in a list of my own. Due to how I analyse people and their qualities, my list will probably be noticeably smaller than most, but that in no way should diminish the impact. I shall sort my list alphabetically.
And, for ease of browsing, I'll section them off by spoiler tags as well. It adds suspense that way.

I have assigned a noticeable weight to words to the point that, even from while I was a fledgling here, when you spoke, I listened. A calm voice of reason that beneath that hid a myriad mind of a tricky yet flourishing path of life walked, and took the time to add your insights to my own - from my perspective, you are that.

I remember in the early days, when I relied heavily on my Q&A thread (I still do, though not as often as then), I would get very little business, but you were always very consistent about it. It was such a small gesture, but it was still nice to check back and see, oh, Azure posted again. Wonderful, I get to stretch my mind again. I suppose my Q&A career wouldn't be nearly as large were it not for you, so I thank you for your time then and now.

This entry is...a bit hard to describe. I believe it's because I noticed rather speedily that the things you do and say are heavily defined by your past experiences - a vantage point similar to how I act and react to others. I'm not sure if 'appreciation' is the most accurate word to describe it, but 'respect' would be. I've always respected you for that, how the steps you take are based on the steps you've taken, and are always very intentional.

You two share an entry only because of 2 reasons: first, the reason why I appreciate you both is essentially the same; and second, you two are both very close alphabetically. My blog was and still is the primary method (more so than the Q&A) by which I open my mind to the community (I know exactly what I'm going to write next, but school has gotten in the way very often as of late - sorry for any delays), and you are both very consistent followers and input-givers. To me, that's a sign that I'm doing something right and that people find my words and thoughts valuable enough to add bits and pieces of their own, to refine the thought into something greater. I know that when an entry pops up I'll see an entry from one or both of you in no time, and it's a small joy like that which encourages me to keep writing.

This is another one that dates back to the mists of time, back when I was struggling to find a niche for myself at the Lake. Via a series of missteps and chance encounters, ultimately I met her struggling with calculus homework, and offered my assistance. Interestingly, this had applications outside of the Lake as well - due to my career as a math tutor at a university, I would get a lot of people asking for help on problems, most of them calculus-related. In the process, I noticed that most of the problems I worked on with Lost, some of which I'd never seen before, came up when helping these students. I don't want to say that tutoring Lost was "practice for the real thing", but it did help me get into the examples very speedily. For that, I thank you.

I think you're different than most on this list, largely because for almost all the others that I placed on here, I did so because of something about their minds and thoughts. You made it on because you're extremely approachable and amicable. One thing I've found that stands out is that, regardless of circumstances or even time of day, you're always smiling. Even at points in which you were slightly frustrated, you were still smiling, and enticed others to do so as well. However, your largest claim to fame for me is that our conversation has reached 421 comments and counting; let's see how far we can take that.

Wow, I'm not sure what to think. I think we've only really crossed paths once or twice, but with each cross, the ensuing exchange was both lengthy and enlightening. I've missed conversations like those, as I don't find them very often. Perhaps I should try to track you down again. I have no idea why I'm writing this. There are a number of reasons as to why you stand out, both to others and myself, but I feel most grateful for your patience, both with others and myself. You almost always have time to listen to people - in between you making fun of your close friends, but I digress - or if you might not have it, you make the time. That I've always seen as admirable, to take chances to stop, wait, and listen to what others have to say. While it may seem like such a small thing, it comes off as very generous to me.

You ask the strangest and most complex questions I've ever seen out of anyone in the Q&A section, enough to really stretch the mind and make people think, so that no one can get away with flippant answers (at least, not easily). It has led to the point in which I know a question by you will require a substantial amount of time for thought, because of all of the numerous small factors that go into it. I always love chances to stretch my mind towards new areas and dimensions that I never have before - or at least expand my influence in dimensions I've already been - so your questions are always a welcome sight.

I'm not sure if this applies as much now as it will one day in the future, but I've been following your Writing Prompt thread for some time now, and making notes to myself about which prompts will, one day for me or some other intrepid author, be great prompts for building short stories out of. I've crafted 3 so far with plans to make many more (I started a 4th many months ago, but life caught up and it remains unfinished), and I'm not sure where you get your ideas from, but wherever you do, they've been a tremendous aid and resource.

There are only a handful of people that I can shout Dragonball Z Abridged quotes at, and you are one of them. Beyond that I have noticed that our (rather warped) senses of humour are very similar, and thus I feel that I can anticipate what you're about to say or do with a reasonable degree of accuracy. Nonetheless, there is never a dull moment when you're around - being both a good thing and a bad thing, depending on context.

There is always the joke about saving the best for last, but I believe you were the first that came to mind. You certainly have a phenomenal gift to weave fantastic stories and thoughts together from such a simple sentence, drawing from past encounters and experiences you've had to make your stance all the more credible. I wonder where I've heard that before. Your mind is one among a few I really try to pry and dissect, to get past all the layers of complexity, to see how you tick. Then again, all of your complexity is neatly organised, so it may not be as hard as I think.

As the topic is concerned about members I appreciate, I wanted to keep my reasons to specific things - qualities I notice in a person that set them apart from the rest of the crowd, rather than just me appreciating them as I would any other friend or acquaintance. Thus, I'm very deliberate about how I constructed this list.

@Eclipse: I put Eclipse first because first of all, when I initially joined Lake Valor, I only joined to keep in touch with my best friend, this very person. Even though we only know each other online, Eclipse is a really intelligent person who can find solutions to every problem. Very helpful and very kind, I know who to look out for when I feel sad or lonely.

@8542Madness: I know that Madness has really amazing morals and is very intelligent. I believe that this amazing member looks at both sides of an argument and believes in what is right. Madness is someone that anybody can look up to, and is a very knowledgeable person who I respect a lot.

@Almandine-G: Who can forget this person who leaves a great impression on Lake Valor? You are somebody I can count on and trust. You have always been somebody I could rely on when I was stuck somewhere or needed assistance.

@Aura: Aura is a humble person who I can easily consider one of my best friends. Aura is kind and again, humble. Whenever I'm down, the name Aura always seems to cheer me up. Also, Aura is the only person who has found a purposeful use of my Pokémon TCG Redeemer codes.

@BiohazardSr: Is somebody I can call my virtual brother. BiohazardSr always cheers me up when I am feeling down and is always great company. He's an unforgettable person that deserves the best, and he is also so kind and helpful, and never makes me feel bad due to my differences.

@[member="Bionic Puppy"]: Very kind and friendly, Bionic Puppy is always someone who I find easy to talk to and very approachable! He also loves Kid Icarus: Uprising, so I find him awesome too.

@Bloom: The first person I turn to when I need help. Bloom is so reliable, nice and honest! I found that she has never judged me, no matter how silly my questions were.
