Hey all! This is the replay thread which I will be leading again! I'm sorry to say I won't be doing Replay analysis due to lack of time, but if you want to analyse them, be it in a blog or here, they will be very much appreciated, and you might enjoy it too! This is also a discussion thread on what went on, so if you want your opinion shared, be sure to do it here! This will be set into two different spoilers, which will, in turn, hold 8 different spoilers inside them for 8 different teams, and 8 weeks! This way you can search up battles person to person or week to week! If you want anything else up, let me know!

In terms of overall team type weaknesses, both teams have unchecked weaknesses, however some are more relevant than others. The Azelfs have a weakness to both Ground and Electric moves, allowing Donphan and Galvantula to freely click EQ and Thunder respectively with little worry. The Seakings in contrast have 3 unchecked weaknesses to Ground, Flying and Ghost, as well as a slight weakness to fire. However, looking at the Azelf's draft these weaknesses aren't particularly relevant. The Azelfs don't have a form of Ghost or Flying STAB and only has Sandslash for Ground STAB which doesn't have a particularly good match up (suggested by the fact that the Azelfs didn't choose to bring it). In terms of key team members, looking at the fact that the Seakings have 3 forms of entry hazards, Mew is essential to prevent hazards from getting out of hand. For the Seakings, Donphan acts as a reliable switch in to Lopunny which otherwise could be an issue (assuming Sticky Web is kept off the field), as well as being able to hit every Pokémon for at least neutral damage, coming off of a very solid base 120 attack stat.

The match itself was a very solid one, with few questionable plays throughout. The Seakings seemingly felt removing Mew and Lopunny to be a priority, suggested by the hard switch in to Galvantula on the obvious recover on turn 12 and allowing Alakazam's presumed Focus Sash to be broken on turn 3 to in return pick up the KO on Lopunny. The Azelf's game plan was seemingly to wittle the opposing team down through Toxic and Scald burns to the point where Lopunny could clean up, however with two status absorbers in Guts Throh and Magic Guard Alakazam this probably didn't go as intended. Some plays that I find somewhat questionable would be the Seakings staying in on turn 3. Even with the knowledge that he would survive the next Drain Punch, I don't feel banking on the fact that Lopunny didn't have Fire Punch or HJK or that Drain Punch didn't crit was worth setting up an extra Spike (which I presume is what they went for) since Mew can easily come in a remove it later and the Seakings had a very reliable switch to Donphan. Ferrothorn could have set up spikes on most of his remaining Pokémon once Lopunny and Mew were dealt with, with Arcanine practically being forced to KO itself to recoil in order to prevent them being set up, as well as be a back up switch in to Sylveon. The only other questionable play would be clicking Toxic on the Alakazam on turn 30. Judging by the play made on turn 3, we can assume that Alakazam is either Focus Sashed or Scarf, and Scarf seems unlikely due to the fact that he has Sticky Web Galvantula. Practically every Focus Sash Alakazam runs Magic Guard to prevent their Sash being broken to entry hazards, making Toxic have no effect. This play however had no effect on the outcome of the game as the battle was essentially lost from that point anyway. In terms of hax, there was a critical hit that allowed Donphan to 2HKO Sylveon on the switch in on turn 24. However, the Seakings had a very reliable switch in to Volcanion if necessary and even if he did not pick up the 2HKO, their entire team was faster and could revenge kill from the range it would be at.

I want to take this moment to ask people to actually complete the league. This IS a commitment that you have agreed to sign up for. A lot of you are very good with this stuff but please try your hardest to make Ultra Haxorus' life easier, he's gone through a lot to make this league possible for all of us to play! Respect his hard work by making it easier for him, please. Thanks :)

Thank you BP for making this. I realize that this is also a lot of work on your part to keep this running so I really appreciate that you'd volunteer to do this.

And also what do you mean by calculating all the stats of the different teams?

    A couple things.

    1. You forgot to put the Week 2 link for me an Reborn in the players section.

    2. Endrew dropped Scrafty for Golbat so change his team so there'll be no confusion.

I also have the list of the leaders in kills. This is the current list.

For anyone curious here's the leaders after last week.

If there were any ties, i ordered it by the number of kills first and then by alphabetical order. I also don't have the info for the Hampshire Hoopas and the Finland Frogadiers for Week 1 since there was no replay. So they're a bit behind on the leage MVP race right now. But Talon belongs to the Hoopas and is leading the league so...

If anyone wants to know the data for every team, then you can go here. After every week I'll post a comment with the leaders for that week so you guys can stay updated.

Here are the leaders after week 3.
