I haven't played PO for over four months, so I haven't been keeping up with the latest trends in the OU metagame there. For those that have been actively laddering on PO's OU metagame, what has been the best Pokémon to use?

When I played in December, there were a lot of Politoeds, Genesects, Landorus, Terrakion, and other Pokémon. Genesect was by far the most popular Pokémon.

I haven't played in the OU tier (been playing NU and RU) for a while now but it sounds like Politoed is the most dominant Pokémon right now.

Genesect is banned out of OU. Other than that, Garchomp was moved to OU. Sooo... Yeah, Basically same stuff.

I'm going to say, even though this isn't spammed, it's still a big threat if not prepared for: Kyurem-B. With that that thing in hail, it's hard to beat with the moves it has if you are careful. Like you all said, Politoed is another big threat in the metagame since there are a lot of them.

I see... so what Pokémon are commonly paired with Politoed in the current metagame? I bet that Keldeo, Tornadus, and Ferrothorn are some of its popular partners

I would say as you said, Tornadus, more importantly, the Therian forme. Jirachi, even though it's not a huge threat, it can pair very well with Politoed. With it's Electric and Water moves, it can be a formidable foe.

Tornadus-T was banned on Smogon and is undergoing testing on Pokémon Online. The most popular is Politoed, but there's really no overly powerful Pokémon left in OU.
