Which starter will you choose?

Rowlet is the only answer.

I'll no doubt be choosing Rowlet for my runthrough and for any subsequent runthroughs. It's final evolution has a pretty sick typing and its signature move is absolutely phenomenal. Plus I'm biased towards Grass type Pokémon, so that's another reason why I'm going with the bowtie owl.

 

It's gotta be Rowlet. The cutest and the fluffiest, even though cats are my favorite animals.

 

Why Rowlet of course. Why not pick such a cute round adorable little owl as your own? Also, his evolution looks sick. I normally don't pick grass starters (Except for Torterra in gen 4) so I would like to change my choices and choose Rowlet.

 

Rowlet. I made this decision some time ago tentatively before I had info on all of the evolution lines, and when that news broke it only cemented my decision.

I will never not love Decidueye's hood-string-pull animation. It's cute, it's like "NOPE CONVERSATION OVER I'M CLOSED".

 

I'm picking Popplio but I don't know if I'm going to evolve it, I don't really like Primarina. I may try to get a Decidueye with trading because I really like it's design too. By the way this is the first time I pick Water instead of grass so.. That's probably why I'll try to get the grass starter too.

 

Litten for Sun and Popplio for Moon. I can't get used to the emo look from Dartrix. I wanted Litten from the beginning, you know the black cat thing. And Popplio really grew on me, I adore Primarima. Hence why I don't pick Rowlet.

 

Definitely Popplio! I love it and its evos are so cute! I'll refresh for a female one tho haha

 

I as team litten, but then I saw its final evolution and I just cant look at it anymore but its signature move is too good. I was thinking rowlet but the emo phase is just so cringy, but that move it an use to trap people could be helpful. Popplio was a though but on an island that seems to have a lot of fairy type it may not be the companion for me. Right now... I may still be Team Litten but I am also team Rowlet, maybe I will try and get both.

 

I was team rowlet when the starters first appeared. The middle stages came out and brionne took my heart of the 3. Dartrix looked like a d-bag and I put my hope in him evolving into something cool. Then the final forms came out. Decidueye looks cool and all, but he lost his flying type, one of the big reasons why I loved rowlet at the start. Primarina gained fairy type, and although i still don't like fairy as a type, its SO GORGEOUS AND AMAZING it actually converted me to team popplio. Litten, well... at least its final evolution is coolish, but it looks 300% fighting type. There's no way I could choose a flaming purrloin as my starter anyways, so I don't worry too much about it.

 

Rowlet was my choice from day 1 and I'm glad I stuck to it, its the best out of the trio

 

I'll be going with Popplio.

When the starters were first announced, I wanted to choose Rowlet, as it reminded me of the Pueo (Hawaiian Owl). But Litten started to grow on me, and I wanted to nickname is Kenma (from Haikyuu)... but Litten's final evo saddened me deeply... so in the end... Popplio, whom I didn't like at first...had a cute first evo...and an even more beautiful final evo... (which I might soft reset till I get a female so I can name her Juvia).

 

Popplio is the best starter I have ever seen. Have you seen that boy's nose?

I was going to go with Litten to begin with but after seeing all the final evolutions there is no way that I can pick anything other than Popplio.
I don't think I could choose "grass Greninja" or "definitly not another fire-fighting starter."
Plus Primarina is majestic as hell.

 

I'm going for Popplio for Moon and maybe Litten for Sun [haven't really decided since I'm torn between Litten and Rowlet]. I really like how Litten and Rowlet started out but Dartrix didn't really click well with me and I'm indecisive when it comes to Incineroar; like some days I really like the design but others not so much. But I'd probably choose Litten for the first run through Sun and maybe Rowlet on the second go.

 

Popplio. Water types always & forever since Platinum. I have no proper argument.

 

Thiiis. It was kind of all downhill for Litten. Whereas Popplio went the other way, starting out weak and getting progressively more amazing. In the end, I'm gonna go Rowlet. Starts and ends strong, just gotta make it through that rough patch in the middle to end up with sweet vigilante ghostbird justice.

 

I'll pick Litten probably, but I will trade back and forth so I can use all three in my first run, the same as I always do the first time I play a new generation. I like experiencing what all three starters have to offer.

...although as with Gen V, I'm tempted to skip out on the water starter. Popplio's evolutions have done nothing to soften my view of it. It's still ugly as sin.

 

I've been Team Popplio since we first saw the starters. I really like the final evo design, it's very pretty and graceful looking.

 

I've also been Team Popplio since the start, and I'm glad to say I picked one up. She's been a magnificent addition to my team.

 

I have finally decided on Litten. After evolving my litten all the way I actually like the final evolution, it isn't too awful and animates well.
