How do you feel about sewing? Do you make your own outfits or cosplay? Would you sell your work or teach others here how to? I'd really like to know! It's something I've wanted to get into ;_;
I cosplay and I am a beginner/mediocre seamstress if that is the correct term. I find myself able to tell people some tips but anything complex goes over my head. We make pieces from scratch and repurpose old clothes from places like Goodwill though. I have been able to sell a few hats I made but that is all I have done with it other then wear my own cosplay around.
I am quite interested in sewing, although I'm not adept enough to be creating anything by sewing yet. My mother likes to make clothes for the family, and I would like to be able to do the same, so I'm slowly learning.
I just got a ton of fabric from my grandmother. She has a lot of sewing supplies just lying around her house and I was planning on learning to sew, so she and I figured I might as well just use whatever's in the house instead of going out to buy more fabric! My school puts on a really big musical each year and the sewing department is a part of the crew, so I hope I can join it! First, I should probably learn to actually sew... the most I can make is a mediocre pillowcase lol
