Where have you guys been EV training with the new SOS method? I've been using these areas:

    HP:
Route 1: Caterpie, Grimer (Trainer School), Munchlax (requires Tauros)
    Hau'oli City: Grimer
Route 2: Makuhita (Usually the first patch of grass will have a rustling patch, and it's normally Makuhita)
    Malie City: Grimer
Any of these will work. I recommend Makuhita or Grimer.

    Attack:
    Route 2: Growlithe
Route 3: Mankey, Rufflet (Sun Version)
    Ten Carat Hill: Machop, Rockruff
Route 4: Lilipup, Mudbray, Pikipek, Yungoos (day only), Grubbin
No competition here, Route 4 wins in my opinion!

    Defense:
Route 1: Bonsly (can have Sturdy)
    Route 3: Vullaby (Moon Version)
Ten Carat Hill: Roggenrola (can have Sturdy)
Wela Volcano Park: Cubone (not ideal; can summon Kangaskahn)
Route 12: Geodude (use a Pokémon to break through sturdy), Torkoal
    Exeggutor Island: Exeggecute, Pelipper
    Bonus: Pelipper gives decent experience.

    Special Attack:
Ten Carat Hill: Psyduck (has Confusion, may have Water Pulse), Spinda
    Melemele Meadow: Oricorio
    Route 1: Magnemite (Trainer School)
    Hau'oli Cemetery: Gastly
I recommend Spindas at Ten Carat Hill.

    Special Defense:
    Route 1: Ledyba (day only)
    Route 2: Drowzee
    Route 8: Tentacool (surf)
I suggest Ledyba if it's daytime, Drowzee if it's night time.

    Speed:
    Route 1: Alolan Rattata
    Route 2: Spearow, Cutiefly
    Route 3: Delibird
    Ten Carat Hill- Alolan Diglett
Hau'oli City: Finneon, Wingull (has Supersonic), Alolan Meowth
    Diglett Tunnel: Zubat, Diglett
I recommend Diglett Tunnel for the 100% chance of a Speed EV Pokémon.

Thanks for the first island suggestions, @[member="IceyEmmy"]!

I'ma add to your list a bit if you don't mind, most of what I'm adding is just so you can try to stay in one island though. Also adding the alternatives that you can find, even if they are low encounter rate because they still can call for help and still give the EVs you're looking for:

    HP:
    Route 1- Munchlax
Route 2- Makuhita (Usually the first patch of grass will have a rustling patch, and it's normally makuhita)

    Attack:
    Route 2- Growlithe
Route 3- Mankey, Rufflet (Sun Version)
    Ten Carat Hill- Machop, Rockruff

    Defense:
Route 1- Bonsly (can have Sturdy)
    Route 3- Vullaby (Moon Version)
Ten Carat Hill- Roggenrola (can have Sturdy), Carbink (Gives Defense AND Sp. Def, it's hidden ability is Sturdy; may call Sableye)

    Sp. Atk:
Ten Carat Hill- Psyduck (Has Confusion, may have Water Pulse), Spinda

    Sp. Def:
    Route 1- Ledyba
Route 2- Drowsee (has Hypnosis and can confuse with confusion, recommended to use sub)
Ten Carat Hill- Carbink (Gives Defense AND Sp. Def, it's hidden ability is Sturdy; may call Sableye)

    Speed:
Hau'lou City- Finneon, Wingull (has supersonic), Alolan Meowth
    Route 2- Spearow, Cutiefly
    Route 3- Delibird
    Ten Carat Hill- Alolan Diglett

To add as a very useful Sun Exclusive location:
    Attack:
    Yungoos

    Or Moon Exclusive
    Speed:
    Rattatta

Both are Verdant Cavern Ambush Pokémon, meaning increased SOS Chaining. To add on, in Moon, the only Pokémon in there other then the ambush give Speed

Oh nice this helps a bunch! And in this gen it supposedly takes one stat only like 5 mins to train for 6 Pokémon [IMG]
