With Pokémon Amie came a Nintendogs-like way to interact with your own Pokémon. It was loved by many, but it had its flows too.

What did you think of Pokémon Amie? Did you like it or not? What was your biggest issue with the system? Do you have any fond memories related to the systems?

I love the idea of Pokémon Amie, it was very adorable and allowed me to feel more bonded with my Pokémon. The little games you could play were cute and enjoyable, I miss them a bit in the new games. Also the treats to give them were so adorable, so decorated and sweet.

I loved Pokémon Amie, and love Pokémon Refresh more. The games were fun, and I do miss them, but to be able to heal Pokémon of their status issues without items was also a great add-on.

Back in the D/P/Pl days, I had missed the Shaymin event so I cheated my way to it and caught it illegitimately. Raised it to lv 100 properly, good moves, worked with the stats best I could, and just really cared for it. ..Then when Pokebank came with its more advanced hack checking, I had to leave Shaymin behind in Black2. Missed the little guy for years until this year's Shaymin event. He's now in Alpha Sapphire (or Y) and seeing him in Amie for the first time was adorable.
Also, from D/P/Pl, my Pokémon Ranger Manaphy. Raised it to lv 100, ok moves, very adorable. Too precious in 3D <3

I love the bonus you get from using Pokémon Refresh. Having a Pokémon get rid of it's burn, or landing more critical hits is a fun mechanic. The other day I was thinking that it might be interesting to see random Trainers with nicknames and Pokémon with affection bonuses, just to make it feel more realistic

IT'S SUPER CUTE. Being able to pet and feed all of my faves and play minigames with them? I'm sold, obviously.

I like Pokémon Amie in the sense that you can interact with your Pokémon in ways you couldn't before. Yet, I really don't like the broken side effects it gives Pokémon in battle. It makes the games way too easy, in my opinion.
