    Would you go diving in the ocean to see all the wonders at the bottom? Why or why not?

    I would like to, if there were no danger to me and I could resurface without any trouble or injury. But the question really does appear to be open-ended, in that safety isn't taken for granted - and, apparently, neither is location. There are some beautiful shallow parts of the ocean, as well as many beautiful deep ones as well. Really, there would be a lot to explore, and beauty becomes relative - even the volcanic vents have some measure of intrigue to them, despite to many they are 'undesirable'.

    I've never been diving before ever, mostly because I haven't really pursued it or seen much of a need to do so. It's definitely not bad - it's just not something I usually think about. But as far as underwater beauty goes, for now I'm content to handle it in the same way as space - look at all the pretty pictures and marvel at the creation before me.

    I like the idea of it but definitely not. I'd be too scared of losing oxygen or losing my way back up. And I can't forget about how crushing the ocean's pressure can be. The ocean is pretty, and calming but we haven't discovered its bottom, which is super cool. I'd love to see what the ocean holds but not by me first hand! ; w ;

    I really don't like the ocean so that is a huge deterrent. The largest one is that I have a fear of drowning due to some bad events in the past, I just don't like to get around large and wild, uncontrolled bodies of water. Although sea life is gorgeous, it can be very dangerous and even unknown which scares me greatly. In general, I avoid the ocean and I don't believe the event of diving is for me.

    I like being on and around the ocean and have all my life, but I don't care for being under it. I only swim in fresh water. Saltwater is terrible to be in and encrusts you in salt, not to mention all of the horrible creatures. Not for me. I have an uncle who does and used to a lot, he has boxes full of old artifacts from ships. I have a bottle he found on a shipwreck, probably at least 150 years old. Pretty neat but not for me.
