Anyone heard of Lucid dreaming, it's pretty awesome, hard to happen but probably 1 of the things you have to learn if your like to experiment in life

Yeah I know of it. I do not practice it or for it like WILD (wake induced lucid dreaming) and other notable methods. I'm not so sure on some things about it, which are sketchy to me.

It has happened to me a total of two times, by accident, and both times I had limited control. First time I became aware I was dreaming during a zombie nightmare, but could not make myself wake up. But I could choose to do things and was aware I was in a dream while doing them, trying to find a way to get "kicked out". It lasted temporarily and then went back to a normal dream without any such keen awareness of dreaming.

Second one involved Pokémon actually, but it was pretty terrifying, like if Pokémon were actual real life beings. They were monsters, I was escaping some (I remember a Lugia the most and it did not look so cool and nice) and I became lucid while running down a set of spiral stairs in a city building of unknown place of name, white painted bricks. It was weird. I did not want to wake up and controlled what I could, and met some "dream people" but it all did not last and it was difficult to maintain any control, like I could not fly or control the environment much at all and it was light fighting going back to regular dreaming.

I'm not interesting in taking the steps of practicing it at this time..because something about purposely invoking it does not feel completely right. But if one wants to the basic first steps involve reality checks and a kept dream journal.

I have yet to lucid dream but I would like to learn. To be a bit more in control and make decisions I actually would could be very cool. I have yet to experience it and would like to some day, I have thought about practicing and learning to do it but I do like the randomness dreaming has.

To be honest, the concept of controlling your dreams seems very unrealistic to me. Why would you want to that when the fun of dreaming is the randomness?

I had the chance to learn, I probably wouldn't. The concept seems a bit creepy tbh.

In passing, briefly, but not to a very large extent that most people perceive lucid dreaming to be. I haven't properly learned to do so, and I'm wondering if I should, because my dreams are either very realistic and plain, or very surreal and unsettling, and with no middle ground. My control over the dream is limited, and extends only to myself, never the objects or persons in the environment.

In the former scenario, once I am aware that I'm dreaming, I am able to effect minor changes in the area around me, usually having to do with my movement, or whether or not objects can approach me. This could involve gliding, flying, striking objects away, defending myself, that sort of thing. In the latter scenario, I tend to use the awareness to shake and stir myself awake as soon as possible, lest it get any stranger or disturbing. I am not a risk-taker, especially not when it comes to dreams.

I and my persona may be rather boring and uneventful, but my subconscious and dreams more than make up for that. And that bothers me.

What's wrong with LD?, the world is a cruel world where fantastes are just that, fantasies, I felt cheated when I was younger, that's why it's good to learn, LD also improves your chances of remembering a dream yet I don't know how to remember more dreams, don't say dream journal, that isn't it.

Anyone know how I can improve it?, I sometimes remember only

I think the concept of lucid dreaming is cool. Personally, I've never experienced it, but I want to be in control sometimes.
I don't really know how you could improve, or even get there, so good luck!

Oh yeah! Lucid Dreaming! I only did it once but I want to get better at it. But i'm practicing it and my dreams are more vivid and realistic. It's really cool to remember your dreams in more detail. So I can't wait to do it again~!

I have never come across the term "lucid dreaming" until now, but what I can say is that all my dreams are vivid and real, and I experience them in real life. Strangely though, my dreams are either a recollection of the past (like what I thought of the night before or earlier), a 'play' of my favourite things or a premonition of the future. I love it when my dreams feel as though I am experiencing them in real life, other than the dream I had where there were gunmen chasing me and my family in the Middle East... now that seemed far too real.

I just has lasting Lucid Dream experience today, I knew I was dreaming and did what I did to prevent my first mistake from the first time I lucid dreamed. Not to lose focus. I Always made sure of my surroundings and myself by touching my stomach or my face or the walls to confirm that I am dreaming. It was hella fun I was trying to change the color of the sky to grey. But it seems my mind had other plans and made the sky change to spectrum of colors. There was more, but won't go in to detail. But yeah I was finally able to control my dreams~

@[member="Dusty"] Was the spiral stairs was in a tower? I had the Same dream where I was in a tower with grey bricks and a spiral staircase and the the sky is grey and the end of that tower has bell. The reason why I'm doing Lucid Dreaming is because I want to visit there again.

@[member="POKE"] Try and drink tea at the end of the night and you still feel like using the bathroom just try and sleep it off. I did that and I was able to lucid dream and your inner-conscious guides you to a dream. You'll know its working once you see spirals of patterns and stuff.
To keep focus and not wake up you need to touch your surroundings in the dream and yourself.

Not a tower, no. More like a some kind of two to four storey building in the middle of a city, entered the building on street level through a door and the staircase went down.

I have had a lucid dream exactly once. Godzilla was storming Tokyo, and I tried to summon an evil demon to fight him. Didn't work.
Hey! They PROMISED this demon summoning kit would work...dammit! They don't have customer satisfaction on the packaging. Well, you're getting a bad review on Amazon. Humph. Poor quality.
