I don't own rabbits myself but I did have friends living in our street who owned rabbits! We (kind of the street kids gang) always went to see them. They were really cute Then one day, while we were there (it was around springtime when I was about 9 years old), one rabbit hopped onto the other and they "did the thing". Out of nowhere. Right in front of us. One of the kids bluntly commented: "Is this what I think it is?" Well, it was certainly a weird experience, lol. I wouldn't mind having a rabbit as a pet later, I wouldn't get more than one though.
My sister had one for a short period of time and that is when I learned that rabbits will grunt when for some reason they are not happy with you.
My younger sister owns a rabbit. He lives in a big cage in our basement. I haven't seem him as much lately since I live at college now but he's pretty cute.
I had a friend who breeds rabbits and takes them to shows. They are very cute though they have passed a lot, they seem to be very sensitive creatures and even in a good environment they wont survive sometimes. It seems so sad that they didn't survive.
I had two rabbits once. A black one and a white one. However... *Creepy Music* The black one died, possibly from overfeeding. (Damn you Sis) Because of this, the second one literally starved itself to death, completely traumatizing young Gamer and his "big" sister. So... I'm never getting a rabbit again.
My sister used to own rabbits. I remember freckles, he was a good bunny. He lived in his hutch and he hopped around and was a good fun and cuddly bunny. Saddly, one day we found him passed away in his hutch during the spring. He was really old at the time and I do miss him. RIP Freckles.
I have this extremely vague memory of either my mother or my neighbour owning a rabbit. This memory is over 20 years old, so it's incredibly vague, and all I remember is that it would be kept in a hutch in the backyard, and I'd occasionally see it eating a carrot or some lettuce. One of my friend's siblings also owns a rabbit, kept in a hutch in the backyard, and I'd occasionally see it eating a carrot or some lettuce. Do I not see very much of rabbits, or are they truly that boring? Then again, of the rabbits I see out in the wild, I occasionally see one on high alert, but it runs for cover the moment it senses danger. I've never figured out where they live around here, but there are at least a few warrens around.
Got a bunny named Titan. A purebred Netherland Dwarf. Doesn't have the perfect coloring, but is definitely a cutie. (Will post picture when I obtain laptop)
I used to! His name was Thumper (Like on Bambi) and he was litter trained! We also had a Guinea Pig as a companion for him
I had a rabit actually it was my brother's. He was too busy and I was also unable to take care of it. It's name was odish tho xD . But my brother sold it
A friend of mine has a rabbit called Shadow, if I remember correctly. She's a pure black one, very cute. And I'm almost positive she's dead. On that happy note, signing off. #MissingNo
My sister had another rabbit names peanut. She was a tsundere of a rabbit but could be quite a nice bunny once she got to know you. Unfortunately, she passed many many years ago. She was all black and a little on the large side, no idea what breed she was but her ears stood straight up. I miss my bunny buddies ;-;
I never had a rabbit, but I used to really want to keep one. When we went for vacation at the highlands there were always these vendors (vendors? sellers?) that sold adorable little bunnies, and every single time I saw them I always wanted one XD But my mum always told me that they'll die if we brought them home because they're not used to warmer temperatures. Aside from that, I had a weird experience with a rabbit once. My neighbourhood is no place to be finding wild rabbits, just wild cats and dogs, but one day when I was walking to school I saw a brown one sitting in a patch of grass at the bend of the street. I didn't know what it was doing there, and by the time I came home it was already gone, so... yeah. I still wonder what it was doing there, though.
I used to, but they all died, I think the virus they use on rabbit plagues here probably got them seeing as it's spread by mozzies. One was particularly cute and well behaved unlike the others that were not very good pets seeing as they hated any contact at all.
Sadly, I don't have any pet rabbits, but that's not to say that I don't like rabbits. In fact, I think rabbits are so adorable! Often, when I'm walking the local trail, I will see a few rabbits along the way, all hopping away quickly. I've even taken pictures of rabbits sometimes during these walks.
Where I live it's illegal to keep rabbits as pets because they are considered pests. It's not surprising to see a hare in our yard or on the side of the road, they're just so common. I'd love a fluffy little pet bunny, but the law says no ;-;
I had a rabbit 8 years ago. He ate all the grass at the background. Today the grass is beautiful and we have lesser insects. He left us soon, but we remember him everytime we go outside :') Will miss you Cafe <3
My friend, had literally 10 baby rabbits at one point and she kept trying to sell them to me because she didn't have enough room for them in her backyard XD They were super cute, but I don't think I could handle taking care of a rabbit. I'd feel bad for it if it was just stuck in a pen all day! I have a lot of rabbits in my backyard, so theoretically, if I ever change my mind...here I come, backyard rabbits!
Thought this was titled rabbids for a hot second there haha. Unfortunately, I don't own any rabbits. My friend used to own some though.
