Hey everyone, and this is my asking page! I'll try to answer any questions about writing or about Pokémon, since those are more of the things I prefer, but anything else is also appreciated! I haven't really had the time to really go through all of the Alola PokéDex, but I'll try to do my best for those guys! Aaaaaaaaand now it's answer time!
Is there any common tropes you've noticed the writings of others that annoy you or make you roll your eyes?
I don't like any kind of stereotype. To me, it takes away from the originality of a character and kind of makes them like an 'eh' character. I do me best not to do any kind of stereotype, and make the character more life-like instead on just making assumptions about them.
*shows up with a white kyurem* Is this okay? Do you like white kyurem as well? What would you do if you could fuse both zekrom and reshiram into kyurem? What would you call the new Pokémon? are you lactose intolerant?
@[member="Strytho"], I'm fine with White Kyurem, I just prefer Black Kyurem. (You see, my sister claimed Reshiram a long time ago, and I claimed Zekrom (even though we never got BW/B2W2)) *jaw drops* Did you say fusion of Reshiram AND Zekrom into Kyurem? That would be on my team in a heartbeat! Name wise... Ultimate Kyurem! BK and WK are pretty powerful (or so I've read) on their own, so to have all three Unova dragons fuse... I'm starting to think it might be stronger than Zygarde 100%. I think. ? Hmm... I've never been asked if I was lactose intolerant before. Well, I've been drinking milk my whole life and haven't had anything... bad happen to me, so I'm good.
@Cadbberry: Yes, Cosmog is great (and I love the Nebby memes)! It's a really interesting Pokémon, since it is a Legendary that actually EVOLVES (that's new), and its design is really cute (unless it gives you the 'coSMUG' face)! I don't have BW2 because my mom has now set a 'no Pokémon game' law (as I like to call it). I've tried to get Moon, but... *heavy sigh*... that was a sad day... The Unova Region is the only one I haven't explored (other than Alola), and I've read that there's some cool stuff postgame (Pokémon World Tournament, anyone?). And like I did with Moon, I kinda sideslipped the idea of getting B2 when I saw a fairly cheap copy on eBay, but this time PayPal and the betting idea was my enemy. So that was a no.
What is the reasoning behind your mother's rule regarding Pokémon games? What is the significance (if any) to the number 27 in your username?
What is your favorite Pokémon of all time personally? Competitively? And what would be your favorite type if you have any?
Well, what she tells me that I ran it under the bus. Just meaning that I talked about it too much (granted, I had to have been 9, and I was not really thinking a lot about other people at the time (so I didn't really know better :/)). I think that she thinks that it's 'too kiddy' for me, and I have no friends to play with (both I could argue against. Competitive battling takes a lot of practice, and requires me to think better. And my sister had Diamond, and she played regularly (not as much as me). And I talk to people who play (there's at least five), and then there's the people here!) But other than that... it doesn't really make a lot of sense. And the 27? That's just my favorite number {no, we actually killed the other 26 and gave their bodies to Ghetsis }. No, it's just the favorite number. Personally, I really liked Staraptor. It was my first Lvl 100, and it was FAST. I used it a lot in my battles (non competitive, though), and had that dastardly battle with the Battle Hall lady and her Dewgong in Platinum (and I won! Thank Arceus for Close Combat!) Competitively, I like Greninja because of its Protean ability. Using that to my advantage, I can use my Gunk Shot on a Fairy and not be pummeled to death! My favorite type, I think is Dark. Some of my favorites are there, (Zoroark and Umbreon, just a short list XD) and I like the designs for most of them.

I read a lot (I don't do it as much as I should now), but I think books are my strong suit. NEEDLES! I don't know why, it just freaks me out! It might be my mind already planning any future disasters with them, or something else... ... {Excuse me, I hope you don't mind if i cut in here. Yeah, BK has no swag. NONE. He looks like a complete nerd, and makes the non-coolest of comments.} ... Yeah... let's go with that...
What is your opinion on both Mega-Evolution and Z-Moves, considering they're both extremely controversial topics amongst the Pokèmon community? Also, which region is your absolute favorite?
I thought Mega Evolution was cool, since certain Pokémon could get stronger (and sometimes get a cool design in one fell swoop), but I prefer Z Moves a lot more. Granted, I have both on my SHOWDOWN teams, but Z Moves just seem better to me. ME is nice, and you get upped stats (I guess...?), but Z Moves have a super powerful attack (while I may add that it's awesome with Mimikyu!!!). Z Moves are my preferred thing, even though I respect both of them. Sinnoh. I know Sinnoh like the back of my hand. And I still know Sinnoh like the back of my hand after all of these years! It's been like, three(!) since I last saw my home Region, and it's still all familiar in my mind!
Cosmug, let's go! I just think it's funny that it even makes that face XD I haven't played SM yet, but I love the Nebby memes. GET IN THE BAG! I've heard about it's naughty little escapades, but luckily they were not in spoiler territory (or any kind of info territory).
That'd be awesome. My sister and I have (devilishly) planned to get Moon and play it together, but we'll see what happens... and I know my sister would want Alolan Vulpix on the team, even though it's only available in Sun...
