    [ Beginnings of Chapter 1 ]
    Pokémon.

In the beginning, there were two beings. One known as Matter, the other, Anti-Matter.

They knew one couldn't exist without the other. They both needed each other, even if Anti-Matter didn't like it.

At one point they never fought, but as the years, centuries went by, Anti-Matter grew a disliking to him. Matter became older, wiser then the other. Neither had an idea what they were, nor what they were even doing in an empty space. Gas orbs they circled, the white Matter even naming some that had life, had color and sought promise. Anti-Matter cared so less for what the creature was doing, the brightness making them angry the longer they stared, to the point he broke a few only to receive a scolding from the bright glowing one.

Something about their high and mighty act needed to be dealt with. Anti-Matter was just as important as Matter was, and they were going to prove this. Words of when they both opened their eyes repeat in their head..
"When thy wake, Matter and Anti-Matter... O holy ones must protect what they see around them. Thou dos understand? Thou work together for if thy rise against the other, thy will be banished and reborn."
These words mattered not if the white one was the first to break them.. An idea they had before discovering Matter caressing a certain orb, one of blue and green.

"A beautiful gas orb this is.. Don't you think?" Anti glared at Matter, turning away with a scoff.

"It'd be better if it was destroyed. You grow attached to these silly things, only to see them centuries later be destroyed by whatever "life" you put into them.. Why not just put yourself in that tiny gas orb and never come out.." Matter turned to their friend, a look of concern on their face. "What... Are you talking about, Anti? Why would you even say such things to me..?" The creature moved his hands away, turning to give the other their full attention. "You've been acting like this for a century now.. Isn't it time you drop this... Whatever your doing and help me protect these..?"
The eyes of the Anti changed to a a bright red, the others words enraging them. "That's the point! Why do these mundane tasks for someone and something we can't hear, nor see!? What is the point of creating something just to watch it eventually blow up!?" This argument continued for what seemed hours with no ending argument in sight. Anti's rage was something both discovered when they were just woken, something they both tried to settle down together. When the other was sad or angry, Matter stepped in and made a pleasant sound with his throat to quell Anti, but this time it didn't seem to work.

"Also quit that! I'm tired of hearing your damn voice--"
"Anti! Why are you acting like this!?" The others eyes began to glow a faint red, concerned for his friends strange behavior. It wasn't like Anti to sound so harsh towards them, and to question what they're suppose to be doing. They gazed up at Anti, their eyes widen in surprise of the shadow tentacles appearing from the creature's sides.

"I'm sick and tired of hearing you. I'm tired of seeing your stupid, cheerful happy face who scolds me every time I try to do what I want!" The other muttered, the shadow Anti had always been had begun to take a strange form, from what Matter could tell it was a long shape, three of the shadow tentacles on either side, followed by red spikes on the end, glowing the dark color of their eyes. "Why do you always make me lower then you! Your happy smile, making all these orbs have life, just to see them be destroyed! It's stupid! Attaching to something that will die off! I'm right here!" The shadow gasped, feeling itself for the first time take a physical form. Golden rocks that flew by began attacking to their face and the spikes growing from their sides, forming a sort of golden plating that shined brightly. After a silent few moments, with what seemed like groans that echoed into the empty space, finally came to a halt as the serpent like creature looked up at the white smoke, shaking its head.
"Ahh... What...." The creature tilted its head at Matter, never before seeing them as a cloud of smoke, but at some sort of shape. "Ma.. Matter..?" Anti spoke, the golden rocks opening at the middle to reveal the mouth as the white cloud floated a small distance away. Whatever Matter was saying, Anti couldn't hear them. They thought maybe Matter wasn't speaking, but by the clouds movement, clearly it was talking. "Matter.. I can't understand you. What's going on!?" The sudden confusion turned quickly to a rage, their eyes shining a bright, violent red. "What did you do to me!?"
"Anti! I've done nothing!!" the figure tried to gesture to its friend, jumping back when they heard the creature roar, loudly as it echoed into the silence. They had become in such a rage, a gas orb beside them moved out of its orbit from the energy the creature was producing. "Please... Don't hurt these orbs, Anti.. You must calm down."

The long creatures eyes scanned as the cloud moved over to a planet that moved, trying to place it back in its proper spot. "Stop that!" Anti flew over and shoved the cloud out of the way with a great force, stopping themselves before hitting an asteroid field. "Stop ignoring me, Matter! This is what I mean! You be little me every chance you get! You like these orbs more then what I have to say.. Then fine!" Taking the orb in their tentacles, they made it explode in a matter of seconds from the sheer pressure. The white cloud narrowed their eyes, quickly flying to them, only to be shoved back once again. "I'll destroy all these stupid orbs, one by one till you listen to me!" Matter grew tired of their friends shouts, and charged at him once again as hooves parted from the smoke, a large, white body which seemed chained down in the center slamming into the creature, sending them a good distance away.
"Gah... So.. You changed too... Let's see what that change does!" The large monster charged towards the white one. Before it made impact with Matter, it quickly turned to its side, bumping their hip into the others face, sending them back.
"Anti, I don't wish to fight you. Please stop this.." Mattered tried desperately to reason with Anti, but they just kept charging at them, instigating a fight. This bumping back and forth lasted for what seemed to be hours, years to them as gas orbs were being destroyed by their rampage. Neither side seemed to be backing down, even as the voice returned, repeating the words it spoke as they opened their eyes.

"When thy wake, Matter and Anti-Matter... O holy ones must protect what they see around them. Thou dos understand? Thou work together for if thy rise against the other, thy will be banished and reborn."
Both collided together one last time, in doing such caused a clear orb to surround them before splitting into two.
Anti on one side, Matter on the other.
Both stared at each other for a long time, unable to escape the orbs they were surrounded in.
"We've failed..." Matter broke the very long silence. Anti looked away, not wanting to listen to anything the other had said. "We were given a task, and all you wanted to do was play and destroy.. I do listen to you but I'm not going to disobey the task I was given." A snicker came from the other, his left eye opening to look at the orb in front of them. "I'm not going to listen to anyone. I want to do things my way." Before they could finish what they were saying, the voice began to speak.
"Thoust rose against one another. Matter and Anti matter. You will be banished to a special place. A galaxy where you will be reborn as the forms you chose." Both the creatures looked around them, unable to identify where the voice came from. "Maybe you will one day learn that you need each other, and set aside your differences. I will give you a second chance to redeem yourselves." As soon as those words were spoken, they appeared by the sun of the galaxy, still trying to look for the voice. "This... This is the sun. The warmth of this galaxy is amazing.. I charge you two, in protecting it, and this planet.." their orbs moved over to a large blue and green planet with some brown in it. "It is called Earth, just born by my hands. The life that thrives here, you will soon learn. Till then, you will be banished in an eternal sleep..." They both took one last look at each other, Matter lifting a hoof up to touch the front of his orb, towards Anti, who used a tentacle to do the same. "Until you are woken again.." the voice began to hum, sending the two quickly into a deep sleep.
"When you are woken. Matter, you will be known as Arceus, the god of all. Some will rule you, others will fear you and hate you, even try to go against you to kick you from your throne. Do what you can to protect this planet, and this galaxy." As Matter's eyes began to close completely, he saw his best friend disappear from his sight, a soft whimper escaping him. "...Anti.."
"Anti-Matter. You will be banished to the shadows below as you have become. You control the under realm, protecting and destroying anything that endangers the planet. Your name will be Giratina. Bound to this form, but on land, take a new to survive."
    -End of the beginning!
