Hello hello! I'm SnowboundBecca, or Becca for short. And as you can gather from the topic title, I'm an artist. Honestly, this isn't my first time joining a forum. The first forum was the Nuzlocke community, but I'm not very active there anymore since I've started doing other things. I'm a lot more active on my DeviantArt page, which you can find under the same name. Here's a quick link to it: http://snowbound-becca.deviantart.com/ The stuff I typically like to draw is, well, Pokémon web-comics. I've been drawing for years ever since I was a little kid in the ninety's watching the first few episodes of the Pokémon anime. Though, I'm more interested in the video games as of today's standards. The Mystery Dungeon series is my favorite, as you can probably tell from my recent art uploads. So, yeah. If anyone would like to have me upload some of my art here, let me know how. Oh no, not another one! I'm half teasing when I say that because, while we do have a lot of artists around here (and that number is steadily growing), we are not at all displeased to welcome another. I see you have a very prolific DeviantArt page there, comprised predominantly of webcomics of your stories and experiences. They're quite well-done! If you're at all compelled to do so, you can share your art in the Portfolio section on LV, to give yourself a second area of exposure. And - while you don't need to - you can also upload some of your images here to the Gallery if you wish, perhaps as a backup, or another URL, or what-have-you. Beyond that, my first impression of you, by viewing your DeviantArt profile, say that you like video games, dragons, and video games with dragons. Given that, I believe we may get along quite well.

I came up with it when I was in high school. At the time, Generation 4 was a thing and the new Eevee evolutions, Leafeon and Glaceon, were the talk of my class. I liked Glaceon out the both of them at the time, and the city where I live in is often home to very cold winters. Later, the winter Sawsbuck became a favorite, and then Mega Absol. I realized a lot of the Pokémon I liked were white and based around ice and snow. I also rediscovered Earthbound and the Mother series at the time as well. So I combined the words "snow" and "bound" together. That's where the user name originated. It just sounded cool (no pun intended).
I halfheartedly hoped the pun was intended xD But that's a pretty cool story, I, myself, love Glaceon. I used to like Mega Absol but for some reason my interest in it has steadily diminished. I love making forum signatures so quite often if I can't find a HQ render of a Pokémon I tend to dislike it more and more for some reason lol.

This disappointed me so much more than it should have! ...but that's probably because I await for the day when people actually would say some common phrase with the pun actually intended. Ah well, it's not a big deal. SnowboundBecca is still a nice name regardless.
