    Can someone please explain the whole Blue and Green name thing from the manga? I'm really confused

    In America, Blue is the boy, and Green is the girl. However, in Japan, Green is the boy that we know as Blue, and vice versa. Since the manga is based on the Japanese version, the same rule applies.

    In the manga each game pretty much took a persona, in Japan they had Pokémon Green, we had Pokémon Blue. Both came and showed in the adventure series, which was a very cool addition.
