Favorite Cameo and Cameo you wish to have seen

I liked Cloress' cameo, it allowed me to make weird theories, he seems so important but not really.

I wish that Green had been included in the Red and Blue cameos. She was really awesome and getting acknowledged would be great

Call me out for unpopular opinions... but I found no cameo interesting or memorable. Sina and Dexio were there to make sure that you didn't forget XY (but at that point your probably forgot them in XY), Colress was just why (I hardly remembered him from BW2!), and Red and Blue made a little sense considering it's Pokémon's 20th anniversary, but it just felt like more Genwunner pandering. The rest of the cameos (Cynthia, Anabel, Grimsley, and Wally, who didn't show up in the game at all except the rigged Battle Tree) were just blatant fanservice I don't give a f*ck about.

Now, I know ORAS was just a few years ago and he had plenty of time to shine there... but what about my favorite character, Steven? He's a nerd and a good champion rather than Miss Fanservice and the Purple Duo who are just there to appease the fanbase. I would've loved to see him... but alas.

 

Colress because he part of one of my favorite villainous teams, Team Plasma. Just wish he had a bit more involvement in the story other than giving you flame charge and the Genecect drives. Now that I think about it what happens if you bring Genecect to him since he helped create him.

I really didn't like any of the cameos to be honest. Most of them were just put into the game so the fanbase could be happy and the shippers could have a field day. But if I had to pick my favorite, Wally was alright at least. He's a pure and wholesome child, so he's okay.

Cameos I wanted? Well, let's start by removing the fanservice characters. Then add the two Hoenn Champions. Then add me being happy. (I actually drew Steven and Wallace in leis and other tropical stuff because I was that salty- but that's a story for another day.)

Well, I am a genwunner...so I loved seeing Red and Blue...yeah...
But I do agree that Steven should have showed up. Hell, I would have loved to have seen him as the Elite Four member instead of Kahili (if I spelled that right). Kahili is just a character, but Steven is the Champion. It would have been so much cooler.
Don't know if this counts, but the Ash and Pikachu shot. But this brings into question: Is Ash in Alola in the games?!
No, it was just a cameo.
But I'll be theorizing it...

I personally love a good gen 1 reference even though I'm not a genwunner, and second the idea of having more Steven appearances.

 

I loved Grimsley's cameo because he's actually one of my fave E4's, and I rather liked Unova, myself. One thing that got me confused was how Looker was in ORAS, yet he's suddenly fine in SM?
