The Underground

OH, I loved the Underground so unbelievable much. I would spend hours there and I managed to convince my siblings to play it too. That was in the time of the R4DS cards so they would have to spend money, while I had bought both Diamond and Platinum. I loved digging for Evolution stones and would tear up if I let the wall collapse.

One time I actually set up one of those movement trap chains and managed to capture my brother and send him far, far away. That was awesome.

 

I loved the Underground! It was a little lonely since I didn't have friends to play with back then, but I was still having fun alone. I loved digging up Heart Scales to help my Pokémon and big spheres to collect dolls for my secret base!

Since my sister got Platinum a while ago, we finally had the luxury of playing together. So many fun flag-stealing-high-speed chases and trap mischief!

 

I saw the topic and thought, "Wat."

I. LOVE. THE UNDERGROUND. I remember doing so many things there; mining those heart scales that I spammed for moves, stealing flags and making bases. I honestly love making bases though (my base had a PokeCenter theme to it, and was amazing!), and stealing my sister's flags was so much fun! I love looking for Evolution Stones, and both me and my sister made sure to grab everything we saw before the wall collapsed.

AND TRAPS. Oh my. I remember setting so many of those at certain places, and then watch my sister run by. The look on her face is priceless.

I'm pretty sure we spent more time there than in any other place in Sinnoh. But we have a lot of memories in that place... I miss it. And when the Diamond and Pearl remakes eventually hit the shelves, guess who's gonna be there to buy them? And then run to Eterna as fast as I can to get the Underground Kit?

You are not the only one. I so hope on a Wi-Fi underground that allows you to play with friends over the whole world, so much more fun than just with local friends.

 

If that ever happens, I don't think I'll be seen on the surface ever again.

I really hope that in the remakes it sounds as great as was in Gen 4.

 

Oh, the Underground. I have to admit, whenever I had a free moment while playing Platinum, I always found myself down there for one reason or another. Sometimes, I went down to work on my Secret Base! Other times it was to try and dig up Shards, Heart Scales and even Fossils. And on the rare occasion that I was playing with my brother, we'd set up trap chains on each other and try to locate each other's Secret Bases, since we moved them around a lot!

I miss it. Nintendo, rerelease Diamond and Pearl already so I can play in the greatest social sandbox you've ever created again! Please! I'm begging you!

 

I never really had anyone to play around with, but I really loved to dig up the rocks and fossils.

 

I liked the Underground but I always forgot about it :X it wasn't as important to me as just having fun as a kid

 

Ahhh this is making me want to go replay them right now, I LOVED the underground so much!!! Both digging and the bases and flags

 

Ah, the Underground! I would spend hours in the there, mining for shards and stones, and setting traps for me to step into. I never played with friends, but it was fun nonetheless.

I never met enough people to get a Spiritomb, so I hope in the remakes (if they ever get made) you can travel underground to meet with anyone across the world.

 

I am actually doing a Platinum Nuzlocke, but I haven't made one trip in the Underground yet. I feel very weird.

 

The underground was an amazing part of Sinnoh, too bad none of my friends had Diamond or Pearl! I still enjoyed playing in the underground by myself and decorating my base, and I hope that when Nintendo eventually remakes the Sinnoh games, the underground comes back as well!

 

I love the Underground a lot actually! I used to like mining for fossils down there, going to different towns to see the different places where I would end up at. However, I never had a chance to try out the multiplayer because I never had any friends near me who owned the games. Though one day I would like to play the Underground with people all over the world! That would be much more fun than to play Capture the Flag with yourself (Assuming you have two DS's)

 

I LOVED the underground! Me and my friend bought the game together and played hours and hours together the first few days and most of it was spent making up stupid games to play and decorating our bases.

 

I used to go down all the time. It was fun, and I loved mining back then.
I remember I once pulled 2 Plates in one spot (Toxic and Splash, I thought the Splash was a Blue Shard!) and once got 2 stones and a fossil (Fire, Water, and Skull)

 

I love the Underground. Because I always need so many stones, and you can only find so many, mining them was a really good way to find sufficient resources. I miss the feature. Maybe there could just be a mining minigame.

I never cared for it myself, but it sounds like a cool feature. I'd love to see it in more games.
