Don't White Out!​

Hey guys! I'm going to be doing a Pokémon White 2 Nuzlocke and updating my progress here in this thread for my own use and perhaps your own entertainment (you get to bask in my inevitable failure due to critical hits). For rules I am going to be following standard nuzlocke rules with a few modifications here and there.​

​

- Only 1 Pokémon can be caught per route / Must be the first encounter with exceptions to HM slaves and duplicate, same line, or shiny Pokémon ​

​

- There will be no exceptions for fainted Pokémon. All must be boxed in the Heaven PC Box. Revives and such are banned.​

​

- The EXP share is not allowed.​

​

- Legendary Pokémon can't be used in battle.​

​

- Tatsumaki, our fabulous discord bot, must make important choices for me (like starter Pokémon etc.)​

​

- All Pokémon must be nicknamed after Lake Valor members!​

​

With that last rule in mind, I wanted to see if any of you guys would like to be named after a certain type of Pokémon! If you do feel free to post here to let me know (but please don't just post a filled out form... add some sort of comment so it doesn't seem like spam XD)​

Since I have a feeling not too many people will go out of their way to want to be nicknamed, sometimes I select random members to use for nicknames... so if you do NOT want to have a Pokémon nicknamed after you please specify that as well!​

Since I already started I'm going to do a mini summary of my progress so far!​

​

Tatsu selected Snivy for my starter Pokémon. I named him after Seprix since they both start with S and he is probably going to faint at some point.​

​

Seprix killed our first Route encounter Pokémon (Purrloin) with a critical hit. Thanks bud...​

​

Our next encounter Pokémon was a Sewaddle that I named after Tatsumaki because the leaves match her green hair. Once Tatsu learned Bug Bite things really started to get into gear.
​

Again, Seprix killed another route encounter Pokémon, Riolu, which was devastating since it has access to Endure but didn't use it. After that I ran next to grass to battle in the moving grass to KO several Audino for experience points. Once Seprix and Tatsu were about lv14 I went on to challenge the first gym.​

​

Together, Seprix and Tatsu defeated Cheren with little to no issues.​

​

After a couple battles here and there I made it to Virbank, home to the Poison Gym leader that I expected to wipe out my whole team since I only have grass types at this point. ​

​

Thankfully I was spared and managed to catch a Growlithe (named KK after karatekid) for my first encounter Pokémon at the Virbank Complex. With ember Seprix almost died, but I managed to catch KK before that so he lives for another day...​

​

After loads of grinding KK swept Roxie's gym and now I'm trapped in Pokestar studios.​

After going through the redundant Pokestar Studios tutorial I took the ship to Castelia City and spent a lot of time exploring and getting items and such from the city's residents. After a while the city theme was getting really annoying, so I decided to just move on and do other things like finding Team Plasma in the Castelia Sewers where we first encountered a...​

​

Wild Rattata and Grimer!​

​

Since my rival is partnered with me, I just told myself I'd catch the Pokémon he didn't kill... which ended up being grimer. xD​

​

Out if sheer luck I caught Ploopy the Grimer and let him sit in the back of my party. ​

​

After a bit of exploring in the sewers and defeating some Team Plasma grunts, I went a little bit north into the Relic Passage and encountered a Woobat!​

​

​

​

Woobat didn't cause that much trouble aside from almost DYING after being hit once. He was thankfully an easy catch and I named him MKU (who I just realized is suspended lol welp). ​

​

After a little bit of training I went back to the Pokémon Center and depositied Tatsumaki, Ploopy, and MKU to the Stand By PC box, so they are basically my back up Pokémon for now. I figured Seprix and KK are my best bets to survive so I'm going to train them some more.​

​

Entering Burgh's gym.... I forgot how stunning it was! The remixed theme and the rainbow paint splattered room at the end was so beautiful. KK swept through his team with Flame Wheel and Ember, although he did have a bit of a scare from Dwebble's smack down. Luckily Seprix finished off that little bugger and we got the badge!​

After obtaining the 3rd gym badge I went north to Route 4 AKA the SANDSTORM ROUTE OF DEATH. Where every trainer was out to kill me with their Pokémon. This girl's Liepard got a critical hit pursuit and a darumaka's fire punch almost killed Seprix. There was also a trainer with a Growlithe that I had to spam leer and thief to KO it. KK saved us big time through that route and gained a lot of exp. xD I ended up using a lot of my healing items only to discover a random lady living under a rock that HEALS your team. >_> If only I knew she was there earlier!​

Ironically the thing that tried to kill me ended up being my first route encounter...​

​

BAKA DARUMAKA​

​

Out if frustration I ended up KO'ing it woops... I'm also partially salty because my next encounter for that route was a Minccino and that would have been perfect.​

​

Wanting to get another Pokémon on my team I went northeast to the Desert Resort and discovered a Maractus.​

​

​

​

A critical hit killed it... RIP​

​

I went further through desert resort and gathered some items and got a fire stone which is convenient because that is how KK evolves xD. I'm going to wait until he learns a couple more good moves before evolving though.​

​

Into the Relic Castle my first encounter was an edgy Sandile.​

​

He died too. Although this time it wasn't even a critical hit. Just one shot from Seprix's tackle and Sandile was knocked out... I need to be more careful next time because ALL MY ROUTE ENCOUNTERS ARE DYING ON ME.​

Anywaaaaays, I decided to call it a day and go to Nimbasa's Pokémon Center to heal up and save. I'm going to do some more training in the desert resort in the meantime and report back here when I make more progress or epic failures lol.​
