Take notice that I put Starting Pokémon, and not Starter Pokémon. If you look at it, it seems as if only people that get starter Pokémon are the player and rivals. Everyone one else in the games, anime, and mangas all seem to start with other Pokémon. This likely makes it seem that Starter Pokémon are not the only Pokémon that you can start with, so that makes me question all of you. If you could start with any Pokémon at all, besides legendary or mythical, what Pokémon would you want to or likely start with? For me, it seems as if I would hunt down for a Golett as a starting Pokémon It seems more likely that I would end up starting with something like an Eevee as my starter.
The nearest Riolu would be mine. I would scour the lands for it at all costs. But to be frank, considering the kind of city I live in, I'd most likely end up with a Sandile.
I would love an eevee for my starting Pokémon. Give me a sweet sylveon! Though it can be considered a starter or then perhaps a Shinx.
Ooh, ooh! I did this with a randomizer once! I got a Drilbur (I named him Mumford~). It seemed like a pretty good Pokémon to start off with, so it stuck well with me. I also started off with a Dedenne during a Pokémon Y Nuzlocke once. She was especially helpful during the first gym (as fairies are resistant to bug moves, for whatever reason). I feel like most of the Pika-Clones would make good starting Pokémon, in my opinion. I mean, I've used all of them aside from Togedemaru, and they're all pretty good if you know how to properly use them (Pachirisu is a clear example. Thing has so much Sp. Defense it can outlive a freaking Salamence's Draco Meteor for crying out loud). XD
Either espurr or rockruff. If it's espurr then I would try to get a female one. I really love it's female evolution. If it's rockruff then I would have it evolve into it's midnight form. (This is unrelated, but this is my 200th post ;u
I would love to start with a Rockruff; they're such a cute Pokémon and evolve into such awesome forms too! I'd definitely be torn between the Midday and Midnight form but will most likely prefer the midnight one!
Rockruff seems pretty sweet! Of course I'd love a Giratina or Yveltal, but... ~OK then I'll take a MissingNo~ Jk I'm fairly sure my sweet Glitch 'Mon isn't a starter. A Shinx or Starly would be nice. Or an Eevee, I could be your rival from PKMN Yellow. I'd love a Gible or Jangmo-o, too, but they're pretty OP. Or a Honedge? Or a Litwick? #MissingNo
I'd love to get a Oddish as a starter. Grass is a typical starter type, and it can learn a LOT of status moves.
I would really love a Minccino, or a Deino. But seeing as dragons are rare, I'd more likely end up with a Shinx! Not that I mind, cause Shinx is just adorable
Probably either an Eevee (gimme an Umbreon!) or an Espurr. Espurr seems to actually be surprisingly decent in battle - definitely a backup, but it can hold its own, and I adore Meowstic too.
I'd want either a zubat, honedge or ralts for my starter, though I wouldn't mind a baby Pokémon like budew or elekid. I kind of like the idea of my starter coming from an egg.
