The first post has been edited. The old post is in this spoiler box below.
Hi guys! Just joined, and wanna share my artworks with you. Let me know what you guys think!

Currently, I've been learning how to make the trainer sprites from XY and ORAS. Here's all of the sprites I've made so far. The first few were for personal use, and then other saw my works and commissioned me for their own. XD

Wow I adore your X/Y/ORAS trainer sprites! 8O They're so creative! If I had more points on dA I would totally consider a commission!

As for your fakedex, you could put it here as well. Having more than one portfolio threat might end up confusing not only us but yourself lol.

Okay then! I'm glad you like my trainer sprites. Here's the three starters to my region:

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Tropeed - Pyrick - Newtide
As you guys can see, only Pyrick is animated. I just sprited the other two a few hours ago, hahaha! Here are their middle evolutions ( Except for Tropeed's, because I haven't sprited it yet )

    [IMG][IMG]
    Gustorch - Aquarrel

Also, here are their final evolutions in all their animated glory:

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Arborous - Igniphon / Lord of Badassery - Salasmack
Here's the generic early-game normal types:

    Fussky - Arctilupe
(Yes, they're basically hyperactive winter dogs)
And just so I don't have to post them later on, here's my legendary trio of the primordial elements:

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Alderake - Cindrago - Hydrogon
Finally, below in the spoiler tag is my beloved fakedex from... 7(?) years ago. Still planning on revamping some ideas here, except the turtle fortress of fire, that was a bad idea.
    Thanks for stopping by!

    EDIT:
Got bored and made a new dex base for myself. xD

@[member="WobbuffetWynaut"] - Sure you can. Would you like the .psd file?

@[member="shinygiratinaz"] - Hey thanks, dude! I'm really glad you like my work!

I'm planning to redesign these guys a bit and resprite them into the current 150x150 size I use:

Any suggestions for their changes would be great! Should I add a pupa/cocoon stage? I'd have to redesign the first evolution to be more grub-like.

Also, fakemon suggestions are welcome! Currently looking at a sort of ash moth for the "caterpie" of my region, since the first forest is an old burnt one.

Hey there Ravenide, awesome gallery you got here! I really like your trainer mugshots especially Leena and Magnolia. :) Some of them have proportions that seem off tho (like the sword on ravenzyre and the different Pokéball sizes on manjean). If I may ask, what program did you use to make the mugshots?

Also your sprites are detailed and beautiful (especially on Hydrogon's Sheen)! Awesome job!

I'm kind of worried on your sprite sizes tho since you went over the standard 96x96 and they would hardly fit the dex base you made. But looking at your map screen, I guess you have enough space on the screen for your sprites anyway.

    Keep being awesome! :)

@[member="Magistrum"] Hi there! Yeah, haha. Manjean was the 4th sprite I ever made and was sorta "half-assed" for a friend. Ravenzyre was a bit hard for me since I'm still not good at foreshortening. Anyway, I use Photoshop. xD

Hydrogon is my pride and joy, thank you! :">

I never really wanted to make a game. I like making worlds, but felt limited by the 96x96 standard, hence the 150x150 sprites. I felt like that easily removed the limit, because usually I don't have much space to draw. xD

    Cheers!

@[member="WobbuffetWynaut"] Do you actually have a Fakedex though? I was really planning on using the dex base for my own dex as it was literally made to fit my 150x150 sprites. xD

But whatever, I guess I'll just make a new one.

Responding to this, I don't think you really need a larvae stage. It would be nice to have a good two-stage evolving early game bug type for once, since most seem to be three stage evolvers.

@shinygiratinaz- Now that you mention it, it IS kind of a break from the usual, right? I'm planning on implementing another bug type in The Charred Grove though, maybe something gray that blends in. Something like a moth?

    Any suggestions guys?

You could do a rock and bug type based around charcoal. It could be based on a stick-bug, with its body made of the charcoal.

That's just an idea. I kinda like the concept of a stick-bug Pokémon, haha.
