Share Your Current Team From Old Gens

13 January 2017 - 04:13 AM

As with the one for Sun and Moon, let's share our teams if we're playing older Gen games, any from 1 to 6. I just started a playthrough of Blue. I have a team in mind, but in the mean time my team is:

RBY Virtual Console Value

09 January 2017 - 07:43 AM

Have you played one of the Gen 1 virtual console releases? Taxes in it's $13.11 here, is that a good value in your opinion? I've been thinking of getting a copy of Blue, I'm interested in how Pokemon from these games will interact with the bank and Sun and Moon, but I'm not sold on it enough to buy an eshop funds card yet. What do you think, answer poll as well if you please

Locally Shot

31 December 2016 - 03:52 PM

What are some shows or movies that were or are shot (reasonably) locally to you?

There's one called Haven, I have not watched it but I maybe should, it's shot around here although mostly a little further in the province. It has one of my favorite guys ever, Adam "Edge" Copeland in it. Used to be my favorite wrestler ever. Sadly never ran into him. Around.

But my real favorite locally shot thing is Trailer Park Boys. Oh man this show is great. It's not even too inaccurate for a certain segment of people around here..I have met and known greasy people like this. Great local show 10/10 have some samples: :^)

LV Into The Future And Beyond

31 December 2016 - 03:16 PM

We must always keep the future in sight and new platforms for the beloved forum, and Cinco has provided a great solution! We should get LV onto the Innernette system as soon as possible, all new marketing horizons open up like vistas, our interactive goals will be within reach. The future is here! Thanks CInco

Odd things kids say

26 December 2016 - 08:03 PM

There are all kinds of lists and clickbait videos about creepy and weird things children have said, but are there any things said by kids you know or have known personally in your own lives that are just odd or creepy?

My younger sister when she was very young, not long after learning to talk, once excitedly told my grandmother during a visit we had that "aliums lives in de backyards and deys gots glass heads". Many years later her daughter around the same age talked to me about seeing "black circle tings dats haves little balls inside of dems that come in my room n makes noises n makes me scared when the tv goes off for bedtime".

I find it hard to remember how my head worked as a small child, but my mother tells me that there was a period where I would constantly talk and ask questions about death and dying before ever really having to face it or deal with it in life. Maybe it was from all the dinosaur tapes I'd watch and books I'd look at about them dying out? I don't know. I certainly can't remember these conversations myself. Children are interesting innocent things...but sometimes they bring up and say some weird shit. Any examples you got? It's a topic I like.
