Wild Pokémon are appearing around Lake Valor!

This is awesome and I am suuuper excited.

Just encountered a glitch though:


I was told Gloom was captured successfully and to input a nickname, then the 'Gloom broke free!' part showed up underneath and no matter how often I typed a nick and hit enter, nothing happened. No option to use another ball either, so I had to refresh and miss out. Hopefully it's not silliness on my end. Thank you for reading.

e: nvm looks like it actually was captured. Just a text error then. Whew!

 

That is an ADORABLE name.

 

I'm loving this, but I'm having a few issues so I'll post them here.
1. My Zubat is named Birb when I called it Flap Flap (not really complaining, but a bit strange).
2. My Charmander has no nickname when I called it Spice.

 

I also found a bug.

I only caught 1 Charmander, and named it Blaze. I ended up with 2 and one named Cinder. Also, it took 2 pokeballs as I bought 20 and ended up with 18 afterwards.
Caught a Ekans, named it Slytherin, and it lacks a name now. I also have 18 pokeballs still, so I either misread '19' as 18 after getting the 2 Charmander or this is another bug.
I only have 1 real attempt to catch Pokémon as after the first throw I never get anything other than failure.

Here is another instance of me obtaining too many Pokémon. I only caught 1 Zubat, named Vlad, but got 3. Also my pokeballs went down from 17/18 to 11 after catching Vlad..?
Caught a Nidoran (Female), named it Nida, and it lacks a name now. Caught a Alolan Diglett that I named Jenny, it lacks the name.

My pokeballs diminished quickly. From what I saw originally, the amount only goes down if you actually catch a Pokémon (thus, by one), however I started to lose a lot of Pokeballs over time, and now have gone down to 0 even though I had 3 the last encounter (which I didn't manage to catch).

 

Bug:
If I don't catch a Pokémon in the first try(I haven't caught any after trying in about 10 mins), then I won't catch it at all, no matter how many pokeballs I use and after I refresh it says I didn't use any.

I'm also having the same name problem as others.

 

I named my Metapod "Go Away" and its name is still just Metapod...

 

I'm having the same naming problem, after I catch one Pokémon, it won't name the ones after it. Also, I'm having trouble with using PokeBalls after the first throw. If it says it broke free, I'll use a second one but it won't do anything and then it'll refresh later?

Edit: I tried to name my Vulpix Cindy, and it wouldn't accept the nickname so I clicked the X and now it's called Chip. I suppose that name is fine too, but it would be cool if we could edit the nicknames!

But yeah, I have 1 or two Pokémon without nicknames because it wouldn't let me? But a few tried to not let me nickname but I just kept typing it and pressing enter and it eventually worked.

 

It's weird that it must gives random nicknames like that at times.

 

A question, do things automatically evolve upon reaching the right level? I ask, as I have no plans to evolve Perfection the Weedle

 

Great Balls and Ultra Balls should be coming back to the store now. Please let us know how they perform!

Honestly, this is one of my favorite additions to LV. I love the thrill of finding Pokémon on the site, and I wonder if this new system will be integrated into Valor Battle now!
