It still shows up for me. It was "Odd Six", right? The icon to change the name is on the left; after you click that, you might have to click the letters again to make the text box actually appear. (The nickname feature is a little fiddly; after you're actually in the box, you have to use the keyboard to actually change the name, because clicking with the mouse just clicks out of the box.)
You can risk getting something you already have then since is not random what comes out of the egg. There's different odd eggs because each thing can only be set to evolve into one thing. So anything with multiple outcomes like eevee with its evolutions and odd eggs with the multiple baby pokémon have different variants of the same image running around.
Indeed, that's why I'm waiting until I am positive that I have all of the Odd Egg variants before proceeding to work on them. I currently have six variants, and while I haven't found any new ones on top of that, I can't be sure that I have all of them. Based on what other people have said, I'm pretty sure there are more than six.
I have 9 different odd eggs right now, and I think that's actually all of them. I've double checked the Johto dex to see all the baby Pokémon that were available (Tyrogue counts for 3 due to its different evolutions), and there are 10 including Togepi. I still could be wrong though. I'll let you all know if I discover any more by chance.
Is only because there tyrogue have three evolutions so you already have two of them technically by catching the gen 1 hitmons before the update.
You could still risk needing to gather all nine eggs tho in case the first Tyrogue ends up not being Hitmontop.
Was not expecting the number of posts to jump from 5 to 10 per level for get Alolan NInetales to Level 30 o_O I shall not be intimidated! ONWARDS SHIRON!
That is one of the reasons I haven't evolved my Larvitar yet. Three posts per level will make things go by much more smoothly compared to 5+ all the way to 55... Gotta have patience still. xD
Another Larvitar just escaped me It broke out of three Great Balls and five Pokeballs RIP my stockpile.
RIP, my Larvitar put up a fight too I don't even remember how many balls I used to catch it but I did use a few ultra balls. Is why I haven't evolved my Shiny Bulbasaur yet, I wanna see if I can get it to 100 first then evolve it.
Is Chansey supposed to be able to evolve? I remember hearing someone saying that the new update allowed it to do so, but I've already reached level 30 with this thing and it still shows no signs of doing so. I feel like I've wasted a lot of time, and I could have spent those posts hatching an Egg or something like it - given how it takes 5 posts per level for Chansey.
Since Chansey's evolution, Blissey, is the third Pokémon in its line... perhaps it evolves at a high level like most of those Pokémon do. Gengar didn't evolve until lv40 for me. So it is possible Chansey might evolve somewhere between 35-50.
