    That's right everybody, for this December it's snowing at Lake Valor. By visiting the Palette Town theme or our Christmas theme (Winter Lake) you'll be able to enjoy the snow.

    Don't like the snow? We're currently working on a toggle which will soon be available under your Preferences, but for now please be patient and enjoy the snow!

    Considering that I haven't had a significant snow here yet (for whatever reason) this makes me very happy.

    Also nice touch with the snow moving towards the mouse. Is it also supposed to be on the Lake Valor theme? Because before I switched to the Christmas theme it was snowing there too, just wondering if that was intentional. shrug

    I generally turn effects like this off - as they tend to strain the loading of the page somewhat (even right now, as I'm typing this, there is an extremely noticeable lag) - but at least appearance-wise, it tends to be generally unobtrusive, and the snow will stop falling if the page scrolls.

    Of course, that means nothing if I'm typing out a post, so this took a bit longer to type than I otherwise would have preferred, though. Ah well. It's not the end of the world. I've seen far worse.

    Edit: I'm also noticing the that the snow will follow the direction (left vs right) of where the mouse cursor is when viewing a thread, but follows the opposite direction of such on any other page. It also seems to fall much slower when inside a thread.
    I'm not sure why those things are so.

    It doesn't freeze for me while typing; it just slows it - and everything else - down by a lot.
    I wish it would stop while I type, otherwise I wouldn't be experiencing this weird lag.

    It freezes foe me when I'm typing or checked Discord. I also realized this page don't have snow which pleases my eyes as I was getting kinda dizzy looking at the snow.

    I think it's pretty neat how the snow changes direction with your cursor. It moves even faster when the cursor is towards the edge of a screen as well, kind of like a little blizzard.

    Now we just need Elsa's theme song to play every time you open a new topic. :thumbsup:
