What this is for Quite Frankly, I'm surprised there isn't a thread for those minor (or even major) grievances that we want to get off our chest when we're gaming. Let's face it -- whenever we're playing a video game, there's always something or some character that gets on our nerves. Use this thread to let it all out. o/ ... Although keep in mind forum rules still apply, so it's probably best to take it easy on the expletives and whatnot but otherwise go wild!
When you're one second away from completing a completionist objective because a bomb doesn't go off when it should... Also, "We need a good Metroid game!" Dood, go back to your SNES and play Super Metroid, if you're THAT starved for a "good Metroid game;" don't force your "good old days" nonsense on those of us who like the Prime games and Samus Returns and whine when you don't get what you want!
Splatoon snipers can be a total pain for a slosher such as I. And can really just be a total pain in general. Basically, what Poke said. Snipers are annoying.
When playing megaman battle network 4, that stupid cook master quest! The way you have to mash 2 buttons faster than your heart beats in the right set of combination just to get to a battrle that a noob could win! WHYYYYYYYYYYYY? Why must I be tortured by a gba game just to easily delete a generic navi?
When playing Valkyria Chronicles and a sniper with low accuracy still manage to hit your units from prett yfar away or the AI gets that lucky shot with a tank shell so your tank is destroyed meaning you have to start over the mission if that tank was your squad commander.
monsters shouldn't be able to deal significant damage by literally just walking towards you at a brisk pace
Now, I LOVE sniping (it's SO satisfying when you nail a Nazi in the you-know-where at maximum possible distance) but I refuse to play any multiplayer games where the sniper rifle exists, even if I get to end up being the sniper myself.
WHy the hell is there so much grinding in FE Warriors, grinding for material, level, gold, and now also kill grinding to get some good signature weapons. ARRRGH
Yeah, that's probably the one super-annoying thing about ANY Warriors game - the item grinding. And certain challenges can't be completed until you've maxed out your characters' skillset (and in Gundam's case, the MS' stats).
Okay lmao so in FIFA, PEOPLE GO THROUGH THE FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT! It's not that hard EA, no glitches please.
Hurrrrrf in monster hunter stories I literally had to grind till my thumbs were sore fighting a stupid looking enemy
Yes, although I have found some I like but I usually play them without actually paying but most are pretty much unplayable unless you pay up. >_>
Escort quests. These are so annoying, especially since more often than not, they would be easy if it wasn't for the CPU you're supposed to protect being so, well, stupid. Also, forced loss battles in RPGs. Seriously, give me some way to know if I'm supposed to lose or not so I don't end up wasting my items, game.
I've been getting more connection issues with Splatoon2 that I'm considering buying a LAN adapter.... =-= I just wish the game wouldn't count my cruddy internet disconnects against me.
Capcom can go and die in a fire for not only making crown trophies for Monster Hunter: World, but for making them pure RNG - RNG is NOT a skill! - AND for including giant silver crowns, which contribute absolutely nothing and have an infuriatingly high rate of occurence. An entire afternoon, not a single crown to speak of. I still need 46. FORTY-SIX. This is disgusting. It's not an exercise in skill or even an exercise in patience; it's pure luck. I have never seen such a badly designed trophy list in my entire life. It's a cheap way to get players to keep playing to try and cover up the fact that they have only 30 monsters in the game to speak of - less than half the number of previous titles - and there is so little replay value in the game because of the awful intrusive plot and frustrating new mechanics that hinder more than they help...like monsters running away from you every three seconds, sprawling maps that are ridiculously difficult to navigate due to a badly designed mini-map, and an arbitrary tracking minigame that you need to go through several times to get anywhere. Did I mention how terrible the online is? Being booted out by PSN errors, freezing issues when trying to accept a quest, monsters glitching halfway across the map if someone else is having connection issues... I have never been more disgusted by a video game in my life. Piece of trash.
