I know a lot of us are from Fanfiction (thanks, zformtapu), but I actually don't know what you guys write about, or what your accounts are, of course excluding those who post their works here. So for those of you who don't... talk about your fanfics! I'd love to check them out and give some support. Alternatively, you can use this thread to talk about any future ideas or projects you have, get some feedback from others, etc etc.

I currently have two fanfics- one called To The Better You and another called Memories of Nobody. To put both simply, TTBY is about a girl who has odd visions who turns out to be a part of a world saving prophecy. MON is a gijinka nuzlocke fic about a guy who goes on the dangerous League Challenge for the sake of his family, only to find out it's a lot harder than it seems.

Both are pretty dark in nature, in different ways, but I like that kinda stuff so :^)

    So- talk about yours!

this reminds me i haven't touched my fanfic in months o o f

Apart from personal projects (that damn cursed marching band au fanfic) I only have one fanfic I really work on (figuratively; like I said, haven't touched it in a while) called Delta Sun and Theta Moon. Basically a Pokémon journeyfic set within the SM games but not really because we turning that anime dial up to eleven. It's heavily based on the Kanto-through-Kalos themes of the Pokémon anime (exploring, stupid fillers to make these dumb OCs cooler) and there are way too many OCs that it's ridiculous. Contest, anime battles, trying to replicate stupid anime effects through words! It's all here and it's already around eighty-five-thousand words in twenty-fiveish chapters ;A; Anyway this fic is my child I've spent over two years thinking about it and developing it since my plans to write this date way back to the minutes after Sun and Moon was revealed

Also the aforementioned marching band fic but that's way too stupid to even post anywhere rip

I haven't done much writing as my schooling has taken over my writing talents (especially since I have three papers this semester that need to be done in three different styles - MLA, APA, and Turabian), but I have a small list of fanfics on FF.net, one of which is 'popular' (by my limited standards, as it has 52 favorites; wish its second part had as many). I can't say I'm particularly gifted in storywriting, but it is something I like to do. My FF.net name is the same as here.

I spent pretty much all of my time writing a mystery dungeon series, which I collectively called "Investigators" after the first book. I kind of lost interest near the end of book 3 and now I can't get back into it or writing a new one. I should probably just go ahead and finish it at some point. I'm probably only a chapter or two away from the end. But yea, it was kind of the start of my Riolu obsession. When Explorers of Sky was announced and Riolu was revealed to be a playable character, I made a Mystery Dungeon story with a Riolu as the main character. It's not based on any of the games and it doesn't even take place in the same world since it wasn't know at that time that all of the mystery dungeon games were in the same world. It was pretty popular back when I uploaded new chapters regularly. Although looking back on it, the early writing wasn't that good.

I kind of want to write something for LV, but I've really gotten into this book I'm working on and hope to publish eventually and, as previously mentioned, I just have trouble getting into it now. I uploaded the first chapter of Investigators back when I first joined, planning on illustrating the whole thing, but I lost interest in that pretty quickly.

I only had one fanfic, but it didn't last long. I deleted it because it was full of bad grammar and my ADHD kept me uninterested on writing. I want to start all over again, but I'm scared of loosing interest again. The story was about a man who basically went through an experiment, and gained of a grass type. At the time, he could only use vine whip, but I had plans on giving him a few extra moves. After the expetiment, Team Rocked destroyed his house and he was forced to go on a Pokémon journey. He didn't want to, but he didn't have any other choice. Eventually, Team Rocket tries to create their own versions of the protagonist. At one point, Team Rocket mannaged to kidnap two of his Pokémon, forcing him to face them at the Team Rocket head quarters. I won't go into much details cause the story didn't make past this part, but I will say that there was supposed to be a few character deaths. Again, I want to go back to writing it, but I don't want to start a proyect that I know I'll just loose interest in.

Oof, that's a fear I'm all too familiar with. I really do easily lose interest in something, especially if, for whatever reason, I'm unable to write for a while. What helps with this, though, is looking at things that may have inspired the story. And if I wasn't directly inspired by anything, I look at works that are similar to my own. Sometimes just reading other things in general, related or not, can get me going again. It really helps! I'm not sure if the same will work for you, but just a tip ^^

That sort of helped me to an extent. While writing, I always listened to a specific song that sparked my creativity.

I only have one (published) fanfic, but I'm planning on making an original book. Its very long and complicated but to give you the jest, in a post-apocalyptic world, two nation, who were fighting each other before the war, are fighting. The two nations consist of government leaders and business men and the other nation consists of AI robots. The robots don't just have human forms, I'm also very proud of the idea of a mechanical centaur controlled by AI. While these two nations fight, a majority of the lands inhabidance are not affiliated withe either side and live in huge super cities that span of miles vertically and horizontally. The story follows one individual from the government leaders nations and this character has cybernetic augments. The only notable augment is the cybernetic tail that was added to her which actually has a dog AI in it and is like a pet to her. She has no control over this tail. The way I though the story would go, would be that the first book, she works with survivors to try to make the world better(as well as setting up the world), then the second book would focus on the two nations. I'm having trouble in lots of places and if I were to describe them all, this box will not fit on one page(not to mention the context). The main issue I'm currently being faced with is with the main villain. At this time, he is a person who rules over a small group of people and wants to make change in the wasteland, but instead, he's actively destroy everything, because he believe's that he's the only righteous person, everyone else is the villain(not entirely wrong), and they deserve everything he does to them. My main problem is finding places and ways for the main character to have interactions with this guy without the main character killing them(that's the world they live in) and having those interactions feel natural.

This story was actually based on a picture I saw here on lake valor's art corner. I saw it and though, I want to make a story with that. 10 poke points to whoever can find that image. I though of a good idea for a main theme for the story that would encompass the entire story, what does it mean to be alive? I'll use this question as a way to structure my stories and build the characters. It fits really well too. What are thoughts so far even though I gave such small amount of info.

Well my story of fanfiction started with one author on Fanfiction.net, and it was because of Zelda. Her username is TwiliRupee, and when she found out that she was my inspiration of creating my account, she was, well, I don't exactly know. My first story is something that will always be unfinished because I will admit that it was bad. The Master of Tides is where I started getting into it, but it is still unfinished. I then moved to Wattpad for a bit, made some friends, then lost them because they weren't good friends, then went back to FFN, then started Autistic Truth, got that pm from zformtapu, and that's how I got here. Don't worry, I will finish Autistic Truth. This isn't the first time I've written a Lindsey Stirling Pokémon fanfiction, because I got two, and Autistic Truth is not part of that canon.

I really can't write multichapters like everyone else, so my fics are strictly oneshots. And unlike a lot of people here, I've never written a legitimate Pokémon fic before haha... most of my oneshots tend to be rather dark, but there's some fluff in there I swear. Also most of these fics are unnamed and revolve around either the same two characters or those characters being shipped... this is what happens when you invest in something obscure.

I've had a fic idea in my mind for about 8 months now but my sheer laziness and unwillingness to write for other fandoms is stopping this from being a thing. Maybe I'll just take all the worldbuilding and character traits that I like and slap them onto characters I write frequently lol.

Well, my first fanfic (that I actually started writing and posted online) is Pokémon: Four Journeys, or just Four Journeys for short. It is basically the result of me finally just sitting down and saying to myself something along the lines of:

'Look, you need to start writing regularly and put what you write somewhere where people can read it and give you feedback so that you know what you need to improve. You're a fan of Pokémon and you've come up with a lot of ideas for Pokémon stories, even if you've never gotten as far as the actual writing process before, so just cobble together some ideas from those old stories into a new one. Let's have four trainers go on their own separate journeys at the same time so that I can use as many ideas as I can. Just go crazy with the creative process. Remember that story you came up with where Ash's mom wouldn't let Ash leave on his Pokémon journey without adult supervision, so she makes her old friend Carmine go with him? Use that as the basis for Ash's story."

After that I wrote up five plot outlines (one for each of the four and one for the story as a whole) that took the story up to about Celadon City so that I would have a rough idea of how to go about with the story and then wrote up the first chapter. That first chapter went up on a Friday, so I decided that I would try and always have a chapter out on Fridays, but then I was so excited to write it that I finished the second chapter early and decided to put it up on Monday, so I switched to the Monday, Friday release schedule that I've kept ever since. It was easy when I started, since I didn't have a job and couldn't afford to go back to school, but I ended up finally getting a job just the month or two later and I'm back in school now as well, which makes keeping that schedule much harder, but I'm determined to keep it until I finish the story (or at least the Kanto saga). A few weeks after I got started I got a PM from someone with the username Katkinz20 inviting me to join up here at Lake Valor and the rest, as they say, is history.

One of the other Eva Versus (originally titled NGE: Versus) which is basically just my own version of Neon Genesis Evangelion and, to be honest, doesn't really do much to be all that original. Hopefully it will get better when I finally get back to writing it. The other is Stray Thoughts, a Legend of Zelda fanfic where Ganondorf succeeds in getting the Triforce but has a stray thought as he is about to make a wish on it and accidentally rewrites history. The story then jumps back to the beginning of Ocarina of Time but Ganondorf is no longer evil, paving the way for other villains to try and take his place in history. I haven't updated either of these stories in months, unfortunately, but I'm going to try and get back to them if I can. I also have ideas for several others, but who knows when or if I'll ever get to them. Anyone who wants to hear about those should just check my summaries of them on my Fanfic.net profile, as I don't feel like talking about them here.

I'm also thinking about starting to write some one-shot fics (possibly even a bit of shipping), but I have trouble coming up with stories that don't end up becoming freakishly long. Seriously, Four Journeys is almost 100 chapters long and I'm not even close to being done with Kanto, and I have plans for all the way to Alola. There's one plotline in particular that I've briefly started to bring up that won't get fully resolved until Unova. And my other two fanfics are going to end up covering several years of the character's lives, with two sequel series planned for Stray Thoughts even though I'm only around six chapters into it.

I wish I had more time to read. I barely have time to write, but so much of this seems so interesting.

I've gotten one chapter worth each out of maybe 20 or so different stories, and just two that have gotten past that. The first is one that's completed, which was at first meant to be a post-apocalyptic Pokémon series, but really turned out to have more of a setting of "the world is kind of teetering on the edge of the apocalypse, but things are still mostly okay, and one Team is kind of trying to use the slight chaos to try to rule what's left of the world". I ultimately had 30-40 chapters of maybe 2000 words each, posted every single week without exception for the duration I was writing it. I think it ended in a good way, like a reasonable season-finale with the clear intention of having one or two more seasons. I may yet dig it back up, polish what I did, and resume it (if I ever find the time).

Currently, I'm working on a newer project that's a lot less attempted-gloomy, but actually fairly upbeat. Taking place maybe 5-10 years after Gen 4 in Sinnoh, a now-retired Champion is pulled into the world-saving adventures of a squad of 3 more traditional Pokémon heroes. The Arceus and Sinnoh Creation myths are going to feature heavily in this. I left it alone for a few months, but I'm picking it back up in ernest lately, and as I lie awake in bed and zone out bored driving to and from work, I'm thinking more and more about character details and plot progression. Once I get a few more chapters done and a few test readers, I might post it here. Not on a schedule though, because I am a busy dude who's only going to get busier in the near future.

I don’t write many Pokémon fics, merely a single Ask or Dare Eeveelutions.
I also write a lot of MCSM as that’s all my viewers are interested in.
