Remake of Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald?

I'd love to see that happen. As it stands now GBA games are pretty much obsolete, only old DS and DS Lite can even play them. It's definitely about time to update them. I imagine they would only remake Ruby and Sapphire though the same way they only remake Gold and Silver and not Crystal, and just split up the extras featured in the "definitive" version between the two games.

 

I'd love these! I'd hope some how they incorporate Dream World and maybe some sort of Join Avenue instead of Secret bases. I hate them.

 

I would love to see that happen as well, but, some times Rumors can turn out false or True depending on the Situation if they make a commercial for it I will be laughing my ass off.

 

Unfortunately I don't have a 3DS and although it would be cool, i never could play it. I love gen 3 games and right now im doing a playthrough on my busrides to and from school. One of my best friends has only emerald so i really want to get to battle him. Since i've taught him EV training and natures, he's got some really good people. Wow I'm kinda way off topic

 

I would love these! But there is no proof of them. Also, houndoom I suggest you get a 3DS as I'm like 90% sure all new games will be for it.

 

A part of me says it would't be surprising if they do a remake of those games. I keep hearing that it was one of the more popular games they've sold. Whether or not it's true, is another story. But they did recently have an aniversary for it. And I do not recall the first two generations having a form of celebration. (I Could be wrong. XD Just stating what I heard/know lol)

But if they do a remake of Gen 3. I'm sure it will be really cool. Especially if they make it in 3D or just have intense moments where the 3D visuals come into play. Kinda like awesome cutscenes of Kyogre and Groudon being all hardcore and all. Or maybe Rayquaza throwing a fit haha.

From seribii, they mentioned that White 2/Black 2 are the last DS titles. They're moving into the 3DS system now. :C Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is a 3DS title.

Getting a 3DS XL for Christmas. I feel like a spoilt brat but I'll pretty much use it most of the time so it won't go to waste.

 

I hope they end up making a remake of RSE, it's obvious that it would sell really well. Of course, if they're going to make it for the 3DS, they'd probably have to figure out how the game mechanics would work along with other things (would trading with the DS games be possible, would there be any new battle mechanics, how would the 3D work, etc.), so it would probably take a while to come out. If they do decide to make it, though, it would be worth the wait, I think.

 

I hope they remake R/S/E. I never got access to those games (untill now).It would be interesting to see how the Hoenn region looks like in 3D

 

I'd love to see some remakes, although I would greatly prefer it be [at least available] for the original DS systems. I don't like the 3DS because, I just don't like 3D as much. *Shrugs*
Emerald was actually the first Pokémon game I ever played, so playing a remake would be amazing! xD

 

I hate to spoil the fun but it does seem way too soon for an RSE remake. I'm not really sure but I do think when they said they were going to expand the Universe of Pokémon in 2013, they implied newer games opposed to remakes. On top of that usually they would do a new game THEN do the remakes, so we should probably expect it sometime in late 2013 or even early 2014.

 

Well, either way. Remake of those games, or a new world/generation, it'll still be pretty cool to see.

Also, Silver, the 3DS allows you to get rid of the 3D effect too. I switch mine on and off all the time because sometimes it's hard for me to see them, or I get headaches xD

But I feel more and more games are gravitating over to the 3DS. Less and less of the regular ones are being made. :'c

 

I might get a new Xbox 360 W/ Kennect and Then a 3DS Hopefully I have that Before I work with Kandu

 

here's hoping that the big announcement on the 8th is for the remakes. they're my favorite games. gen 3 was just the best. also there was a lot of hype about it being the 10th anniversary, so it's very likely.

 

I hope whatever they make is for the 3DS, the games I have for it now are kind of shit. I want a reason to use my 3DS other than for the internet.

As for R/S/E remakes, that would be awesome. 3rd gen has some of the coolest Pokémon, and I never got to play the 3rd generation games very much because I only had Emerald.

 

That would be so awesome, I would love to play the game, that is if it's actually coming out?

 

I hope the make the game a bit longer maybe adding a good after game, because I know the Hoenn region games like the back of my hand I can beat r/s/e really fast!
