What is the best Game you've played and which one was the worsed? And why? As for myself, I'd say that the Portal series are the best games I played so far. I just love the atmosphere of kinda being controlled by an artificial intelligence. The worst game, for me, is Pokémon Rumble U or many mobile Apps. Pokémon Rumble U is good (I think), but I don't like the concept of the game(Or whole series). It's "just" button smashing and ,personally, I don't like that.
Best game? Tough one... there are so many different games that I like. Super Mario 64, Tales of Symphonia, F-Zero GX, Metroid Prime... Worst game, however, would probably be Sonic '06. I'd sooner play Mario is Missing...
Metroid Prime is a masterpiece. Metroid Federation Force is not. We don't talk about Federation Force.
As I have mentioned in other threads, I loved Stellaris and Civilization, but the worst game out there is Hey you Pikachu from the Nintendo 64, it was a nice try from Nintendo, but that game was a big miss for its time.
It's... hard for me to say what the worst game was, because all the games that I thought was awful I've kinda phased from memory at this point. I will say however that I was Not A Fan of Ni No Kuni II, though. Not that I think it's a bad game, because I think there are so many others out there that I think enjoyed it (and it did have good reviews for a reason), but I feel like the overall premise of the games didn't quite grab my interest like I thought it would. I really tried to give it a chance, up until I found out about the whole mechanic about going to war and building your own army and stuff and I just... got bored. I guess it's just not my kind of game. :c For the best games I've ever played? I have a ton! Devil May Cry Series - I feel like if you haven't given the DMC series a shot, you've really been missing out. It is, IMO, one of best hack and slashers out there, and for good reason. The game doesn't just put emphasis on randomly killing your enemies, it puts emphasis on killing them with style. Okami - I cannot emphasize enough how amazing Okami as a game is. Not even just the art style, but the combat, the dialogue, everything. So much time, so much effort has been made to make this game feel truly unique and special. Zone of the Enders - I'd say this is more or less an obscure game because it originated on the PS2 and it's basically a fighting robot kind of game, but honestly? I'd say this is one of the best games I've ever played for sure; the plot of both games are pretty touching and not to mention the combat system is pretty neat, too! Xenosaga Series - I'm still rather peeved that there wasn't a Xenosaga Episode IV. The last Episode ended on such a cliffhanger that it was blatant that the series was destined to continue. What made this game so amazing for me was the characters. The characters and the cutscenes really made the impact happen. I think some people poke light jabs at Xenosaga beacuse the cutscenes tend to be ridiculously long, but I personally don't mind because I think they do a good enough job creating a sort of impact on the player, regardless of what the cutscene is, y'know? Tales of Series - Mostly Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Graces, Tales of Xillia, and Tales of Berseria (since those are the ones that I actually played LOL). Seriously amazing Tales games for sure! DBZ Budokai series - A class and a MUST have for DBZ fans, I think. It's pretty much the ancestor to DragonBall FighterZ to this day I have so many positive memories of fighting against one of my best friends with it. Going to stop there for now before it gets dragged out to be too long. xD
The best game in my opinion? That's hard. I have to say either Mario Odyssey or Splatoon 2. Worst game? Sonic 06 or ShadOW THE EDGEhog. Enough said. (The caps spell out something... minus the S.)
Well Super Mario 1 and 3 for NES were good but 2 wasn’t really a Mario game. Luigi’s Mansion on the GameCube was my favorite. The 2nd one didn’t have much of a scary vibe to it, more funny than scary. Super Mario Sunshine was a bad one too, it wasn’t too bad but Bowser’s voice reminds me of a Cookie Monster. Is Bowser a Cookie Monster or a Koopa King? That is the question. For Pokémon, Pokémon Ultra Moon was the best. Pokémon Rumble I agree was not as good as any other games I’ve played.
He's a Cookie King. Or a Koopa Monster. I do understand the thing about LM, though. Dark Moon was more of a comic-relief kind of thing. And yes, Mario Odyssey stole our hearts and money. Nintendo, how do you do it?! How do you make such an amazing game and then proceed to surprise us at every turn? How? HOW?!
Well Koopa Monster is definitely it because he terrorizes the Mushroom Kingdom. The world may never know.
Most games I didn't like have passed from my memory at this point, but as for my favorite game, there's a lot of options. First, there's the Pokémon series for obvious reasons (I mean, we're on a pokémon forums website.) Getting Over it with Benet Foddy is a game that seemingly exists just for the rage factor, but it did succeed in making me think. DDLC also made me think, and subverted my expectations while doing so, so that's a point in my book. Cuphead because it's just so difficult it's fun Minecraft, ARK: Survival Evolved, and Universe Sandbox 2 are all up there for the same reason: I like sandbox games. LoZ: BotW. I haven't actually played it yet (because I don't have a Switch or WiiU), but I've seen half a playthrough and it looks amazing. And finally, the Mario series because platforming is fun.
I know about getting over it because of Markiplier XD I’ve heard of Cuphead and I also heard of Bendy and the Ink Machine. Minecraft was always a game I played during free time so is Mario and Pokémon but I play those games more.
As best game i have probably some problems in choosing one of my favourites. Mostly because i really love them all. They are: -Pokémon, obviously. The game i like more of the Pokémon saga is probably Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky (And obviously EoD and EoT); -Undertale. For everyone who knows it, i don't think i have to explain why; -Oneshot. I have to say that it is a really good game and there's one choice in particular that's really difficult to do and a bit sad. For worst game, i really don't know. I mean, i have enjoyed all the games i played. So really i don't know. If there's one, in this moment i'm forgetting it.
The best game I've played is Xenoblade Chronicles, with Tales of Berseria a VERY short step behind. These two are masters of storytelling with a fantastic cast that don't rely on the standard-issue JRPG tropes - which is particularly noteworthy for Berseria, as the Tales games THRIVE on tropes - and have compelling battle systems, fantastic soundtracks, and a hell of a lot of content. The worst game I've played is Persona 4. It's poorly paced and predictable, has the WORST soundtrack I've ever heard in a video game, and has an absolutely disgusting cast. I find Yosuke offensive. This is to say nothing of Chie and Teddie. Breath of the Wild is a step behind P4, albeit for completely different reasons.
