@OzoneFruit Ooh he would be handing to have at my work, I work in IT Keeping with a character sheet motif for fun. Name: Jey Joly Quirk: Beastshift Jey's body can take on the shape and attributes of an animal she has studied. Knowledge of how this animal moves and makes use of the attribute chosen has to be detailed and rather extensive. The shifts last for about 1 hour as well so planning is needed. Examples: Gecko's sticky pads, octopus skin/chromatophores, dog nose etc.
My quirk will be to have pop corn appear in comedic situations. Scenario: A friend is trying to calm his girlfriend by saying “Just calm down, babe!” Then out of nowhere popcorn will appear in my hands. Then I maliciously eat it and say, “Carry on.”
My quirk would allow me to control metal and technology, allowing me to build and pilot mobile armored-suits of varying size, depending on the need of the time, within the span of seconds. The one drawback is that, since it depends on my mind needing to focus on keeping the parts together cohesively, were I to be knocked out with a sufficient concussive force, either before or after construction, would render me inert completely.
I'd like to be able to edit people's memories. It'd be kinda fun. A drawback would be not remembering which memories to put back if need be.
I'm going to give myself the quirk of being able to stop time. Sounds OP? Not quite. When I freeze time, everything will freeze, including myself (what am I going to do, push the air molecules out of the way when they're frozen too?). Can't turn my eyes, can't focus on a sound, only thinking. And a drawback? Well, sometimes I only freeze myself. "What happened to Zero, why did he just stop?", you shout while we're under fire while fighting villains. "He probably thinks he froze time, but really just froze himself. Help me store him somewhere safe until he unfreezes." "Zero" might be good as part of a superhero name, too. Since the speed of time at that, uh, time, will be zero, uh, seconds, uhhhhh, per second? Time manipulation logic is hard, cut me some slack.
Great name and a nice balance of your powers. Could I add a suggestion to when you freeze only yourself by mistake, you freeze into a T poze no matter what? (Sounds dumb but then again, my ability is making pop corn appear)
When I started watch MHA, I came up with two Quirks that I might have. (Note: I'm to where All Might fought the Multi-Quirk monster Nomu or however his name is spelled.) The first I came up with is called Lightning. Pretty simple and true to its name, it is an electrical Quirk. Of course when I found out about Electrification, I had to tweak it. First, Lightning isn't very good at electrifiying the body, but the electrical blasts are much more focused. Of course, if I were to crank up the voltage too high, I might shock myself as well. I also wouldn't be able to use it at all while submerged without shocking myself. The longer I have to use Lightning, the more carried away I might get, making it best suited for short fights compared to drawn out ones. The other one I might have instead is called Clone. I can either split a single clone of myself from me, or turn myself into someone else by absorbing some of their genetic material, but I can't do both at the same time. Of course it's not the perfect disguise. When I make myself into someone else's clone, it isn't the perfect disguise. My body wouldn't be able to copy any injuries, scars, or missing/prosthetic limbs that the target might have. I might copy their Quirks though, but I'm not entirely sure. The Clone also disappears if he gets too far away from me, he dies, or I die, but I gain his memories and heal myself (depending on how unhurt the clone is) if I manage to reabsorb him. Unfortunately, it would take me a while before I can make another clone of myself after the first one disappears or gets reabsorbed. Not entirely sure which of these two I might have, but I like both.
I'll have you know that my first choice of superpower (not exactly a quirk) was to summon a dramatic thunderbolt randomly 1/2 mile away at will to instantly crank the ominousness of any statement up to eleven. "Who finished the Fritos bag? I wanted to have some with lunch!" "It was..." *dramatic thunderbolt* "MEEEEE!" But to adapt the T-Pose ever, one must be careless enough to actually adapt the T-Pose ever. This one is always prepared to counterattack, being a type who revels in always being in condition yellow or orange. I would like to freeze in my current position and just stop moving (hopefully standing balanced, in case only I froze and gravity is still affecting me). That way, I can try to use it as a counterattack. The bad guys think they have me defenseless, they close in casually with their guard down, then WHAM I spring into action and they never saw it coming. I suppose I could just fake the T-Pose reaction... but it goes against my fighter instinct.
Now I haven't watched MHA a lot but I know a friend loves it. so I would think something about flying and at super high speed. disadvantage would be that the high speed has a countdown for 4 hours or something before being to use it again
I've only seen seven episodes of MHA at this point, but I love it so far. My quirk would probably be accelerated brain function, expanded storage capacity of the brain, and a perfect memory. This would mean I would be able to calculate the exact path a projectile, for example, would take. Drawback(s): not good in social situations at all due to the accelerated brain function making me pretty much Spock in terms of logic, and it doesn't mean that I can actually do something like withstand incredible G-force to avoid a projectile, but I could create tech to allow me to do something like that.
I know nothing about MHA so if my quirk is something that already exists then sorry. I would go with shadowbending. This would give me certain abilities with shadows and darkness. Namely, being able to blend in with them, making shadow clones, and "Shadow Jumping", being able to warp between shadows. Also shadow vision, which just allows me to see well in the dark. Drawbacks: All of these abilities require the shadows to be large and dark enough. I mean, I can't warp through something as small as the shadow of a brick or something, right?This results in me being incredibly powerful at night or in total darkness, but nearly defenseless in broad daylight. While I can make shadow clones resembling figures other than myself, they do not copy any abilities of who they are based off of. However, they do naturally have the same shadow vision as myself. Also, they can be destroyed far easier than an actual being, as they are really just apparitions (though they do have physical bodies), and they are all controlled by me, so I have to stay at least slightly focused on them or they do nothing. This makes it harder to do for long the more of them there are.
I just got reminded of a superpower I wanted a long time ago while watching new (to me) episodes of My Hero Academia. Similar to Sero's power of shooting cellophane tape (get it? Sero? Celo?) out of his elbows in a way that functions similar to Spiderman's silk shots, I would instead have two steel cables that I could control as if they were extensions of my own body, and I would use them mostly in a way similar to the Metalbending Police in Legend of Korra. Swinging and grappling, turning them into springs to go under my feet, maybe even reactive body armor if used in the right way. The best part is, these two cables had names: Coil and Recoil. Still no idea what my Quirk superhero name was going to be though.
I made an OC too! This is basically what I wrote so please enjoy! Name: Kiyomi Shimaoka Age: 16 Quirk: Sugar Crystallization, she can turn sugar in her body or in the world into crystals depending on how much sugar is in the crystals they can be as strong as diamond. However she needs to have a lot of sugar in her diet to do this. Disadvantages: Using her powers a lot drains her and her sugar levels can get very low normally causing her to faint or even get really sick. Hence the below information. Description: Purple hair and grey eyes. Her skin is a very pale blue colour and she always has a packet of jelly babies in her pocket to replenish her sugar levels. She is super bouncy and if she sugar crashes she crashes hard.
I can't bring myself to continue MHA because the writing is so bad, like the characters are pretty bland, I wish the mangaka knew what he was doing. That said I like the idea, I'd like to shapeshift, I could do espionage
Hero name: Dio Quirk: The world This quirk allows me to freeze time for 9 seconds with around 30 seconds of cooldown. I could continuously use the quirk but every it still on cooldown, the CD timer adds another 15 seconds and the freeze timer reduced by 1 second. If I used it too much(Let's say 10 times), I will stop both myself and time.
