A lot of people have very specific styles of art they like to see and are more appealing to them. As an artist, I personally lean towards art styles and artists that tend to look more and draw like my style. I do, however, love seeing other art styles because everything is so unique! Are there art styles that you prefer, or do you like every art style in general?
I love the girly, cutesy kawaii style of art. I'm attracted to pinks, purples, and blues, because I love bright colors!
I'm fine with different art styles, but I usually like to look at anime/cartoon style art. I love the emphasized look that draws in the eye. It can't be too much though, I really don't like caricatures. As for non fanart, I like artsy unrealistic stuff that is full of symbolism and dark colors, but I'm not a big fan of abstract stuff. I just don't really get it.
Honestly I can't think of a type of art style that I don't like right now. That should answer the question. x)
I adore retro-style art, like the type of art you find on on old vintage advertisements and posters from the 40s-60s. Something like this (although this isn't an advertisement). Art Nouveau is really neat too.
In case my own art style wasn't a dead giveaway, I absolutely love cartoon art (no, not that calarts garbage that's everywhere today but the really old cartoons). Something about looking at it is really fun! I especially like the styles that don't look complex yet look really professional mostly because it gives me confidence i can do the same and not suck at art or somethin of course no one draws cartoon art so it's near impossible to find ;n;

i guess i just prefer styles that are eye pleasing? that usually means either bright colors or pastels most of the time..... i love light pastely themes on art in case you cant tell haha a better word i use a lot to describe this art i like is "soft" and my art probably exists to be Soft nowadays heh. but i love Soft so its okay hh
I love all styles of art! Hhhh! I could ramble on and on about all these different styles! One that might surprise people is I really like dark, creepy and macabre art, which flies in the face how I present my self and art but I've loved it for years. It's a left over from my emo phase mind you... I really love classical styles and impressionist styles. The colour pallets just call out to my soul. Hhh. So dreamy. Very earthy and natural. I love super simplified digital art as well. Also textured digital art! With like, cardboard textures and paint textures. Hhhh. Yess. I love the high levels of expression that comes from cartoonish art! It's so much fun and can be very dynamic!
I think I prefer cartoon and anime styles over the other. But I do like looking at other styles. Just not as much as I do with "simpler styles".
Anything that can be rule34ed I like the cute styles because I can't do them at all. As for drawing I try to concept art or do something more anime-like. I admire pixel art a lot.
