I know that it's super early to be thinking about Halloween, but I can't help it. If people can begin celebrating Christmas in November, then I can think about what I'm doing for Halloween in September.

I seriously love Halloween. I love to dress up in costumes (even though I rarely ever go anywhere). I love spooky stories (except I really don't like horror movies). I just love the gothic atmosphere.

Halloween is my favorite holiday! My roommate and I have fake pumpkins we carved last year we're going to decorate our room with and we also plan on decorating our dorm door. Our dorm also holds a trick or treat event for little kids we're participating in!

That sounds like so much fun. My community has a couple of Halloween events going on, but because the community is so small, they're all focused much more on little kids. Adults can participate, but it's just not as fun. What I really miss though is trick or treating. I don't care if I'm in my twenties, if I lived in an area with trick or treating, I would still be going out. I mean, that's what younger siblings are for, to give you a reason to do silly activities without getting too many weird looks.

Glad you guys like it =') tbh I haven't done anything for Halloween in ages but we have a seasonal Halloween store that pops up for the month leading up to it every year, and walking through it is always fun. I loved daring little bro to go in front of the big decorations that jump out at you when you get near them lool.

    this is cute \o/

I used to dress up for Halloween, but now I don’t, though I still occasionally go on trick-or-treating.
Though I still kind of dislike the holiday. Why? Well, during Halloween, someone who lived in the same building committed suicide by jumping off a building. (In case you’re wondering, no, I did not know who that person is, nor have I met them) The managers thought it had something to do with the Halloween decorations, and thus they took it down. Sorry, I just had to get this off my chest.

Halloween is fun, I like the themes surrounding the holiday. I will celebrate by watching horror movies, or at least the ones on Netflix.

Last year, I got to carve a pumpkin for Halloween. It wasn’t done well at all however I still enjoyed it; the pumpkin stood out nicely on top of the DVD player. Though maybe, if I get to carve another, I won’t put it there again for my own sake. I left it for a while even when it was clearly rotting because I liked the idea of a zombie pumpkin, but I left it a bit too long; pumpkin juice almost got into the DVD player.

    Halloween sounds great!
Unfortunately, here in India, most people dont even know whats halloween! -_-
Seriously, its frustrating! I too wanna dress up as a bad old witch(like the one from 'Brave' or 'Snow White') and go trick or treating... but ya, what can I do. Halloween's not so popular here.
    WHY!!!

I don't do Halloween anymore because I just find it more fun to kick back and do absolutely nothing. The building gets really cramped and noisy, and I'm easily irritated by younger children - especially in large numbers, making it more annoying to go to Halloween than just put up a sign saying that there's nothing. That's just my opinion, though.

I love Halloween!! As a candy hoarder, it's how I feed myself for the rest of the year. (I replenish a little during Christmas and Easter too.) Dressing up in elaborate and obscure costumes is always really fun - I'm going as Monty Python's Spanish Inquisition this year - and it's nice to see all the smaller kids enjoying themselves! I'm going to milk trick-or-treating as long as I can, and then I think I'll start handing out candy, I enjoy that night too much to not take part in it.

As for traditions, we don't really have many? I can't really handle horror but we will watch Halloween-themed movies. It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is always a necessity. And, of course, I'll listen to This Is Halloween a billion times, because who doesn't.
