Tutorials usually show an art process step by step. Examples include shading tutorials or anatomy tutorials. Do you guys use tutorials or do you like to figure things out on your own? For the most part, I like to use references and figure things out on my own. I’ll use tutorials if something is especially tricky though.
When it comes to art, I feel like I don't learn very well from tutorials tbh. Messing around until I come up with something decent is more my thing.
I’ve never really used tutorial videos. I kinda just taught myself to draw through drawing Pokémon. Now I can... draw Pokémon but I can also draw other things too
I’ve never really shed those either since I started to draw a lot and improve when I didn’t have a phone or computer
I do use tutorials, but only to get an idea of what I am supposed to be doing. Then I mess around until I am satisfied.
I like watching tutorials, even if I'm not necessarily learning anything new. I often go to tutorials to see people use different things that I don't, get a idea on how they're used, and learn of new techniques.
