Sometimes artists don't have their drawing devices flat on the table when they draw. How do you hold yours? I personally hold mine in my lap! Sometimes I sit with one leg on the chair with me so sometimes I'll hold my tablet on my leg too! I rarely lay my tablet flat on the table.
I like putting mine up against my leg too! I usually end up in a position with both my legs somewhere on my chair with my tablet up against my left one (because I'm left handed). It's probably a bad position for my back though
It is a Laptop so it is mostly on my desk, but when I want to do a quick sketch in my bed, I place it on my lap.
I draw on the school bus, which I know is a terrible habit, but it’s the only time I actually have time to draw. I put my laptop on my legs, pressing against the chair in front of me so that I can make room for my drawing pad.
Back when I drew with a tablet I'd always have it either on my lap or sitting on the computer desk. I didnt feel comfortable sitting any other way with it.
I draw on my bed, so while the laptop is resting on the mattress, the tablet is on my lap. Sometimes I get leg cramps as I tend to sit cross legged while using my tablet.
i've noticed that my hand hurts a lot more when i lay my tablet flat. maybe i should..start doing that so many hand will work itself out.
Well my current drawing device is pretty much my mouse since I don't have a tablet yet so flat on the table for obvious reasons.
I usually have my laptop on my lap when doing anything, including art stuff. I use a cushion my mom made for me to hold it up at a higher elevation so that it's easier on my neck.
