New info has been revealed for sword and shield! 2 new Pokémon were revealed, character customization was confirmed, a new feature, camps, and a new social function called league cards were added!

The two new Pokémon were Cramorant and Polteageist! Cramorant is a water/flying type and Polteageist is a pure ghost type!

Character customization is confirmed and it seems you can customize your hair, outfit, and accessories! There seem to be more options compared to sun and moon, so hopefully theres something for everyone!

A new feature, camps, have been added! It seems to be another amie-type area where you can interact and play with your Pokémon. You can cook certain foods in the camp, or even visit your friends camp in this new mode!

League cards seem to be a new way to interact with friends or npcs in the game! Not much is known about them yet, but it seems that you can customize your own, or use it as a way to battle your friends!

That seems to be all the information for now, what do you guys think? What are you most excited for so far? How do you think these new Pokémon will be in game?

I'm hyped for the increased level of freedom with character customization. All the new features like gloves and whatnot look great and I can't wait.
I'm not really sure what to think of the new Pokémon yet, it's going to take a while for me to form an opinion on them. As for the other things, I don't really know what to think yet. Camping looks like it will probably be fun, though.

The new camping feature looks like the best parts of secret bases and Pokémon Amie put together. I can’t wait!

Caramount’s design doesn’t stand out to me, but it’s ability is really charming. That and ball fetch make me optimistic about the other new abilities being just as unique.

Polteageist is easily one of my favorites out of the Pokémon revealed over the last few months. A haunted black tea cup is just the perfect idea for a Galar ghost type. I’ll definitely use one on my first team.

The customizable trainer cards look fun as well. If they add enough options, it could be quite the feature.

I’m really excited that we can finally E A T in a Pokémon game. (As a kid, it really annoyed me that the characters ate food in the anime and I would always say “but you can’t eat food in the games though!”) Also the curry making reminds me of making Poffins. SiNnOh CoNfIrMeD

Polteageist and the mint Alcremie are super cute. I don’t really care for Cramorant too much though.

I love the new customization features! It’s gonna be really hard to find someone who’s dressed exactly as you are.

The camp idea seems fun. I really hope you can go to other people’s bases wirelessly.

Smash news got me much more excited than Pokémon for a number of reasons but something I will mention is that across I think Pokémon's other language Twitters, we've seen a total of 18 Alcremie forms. You can see them at the bottom of this page - https://serebii.net/swordshield/pics.shtml.

There's a Blueberry (?) one too that I especially like.

Ugh I am so excited for Polteageist ^_______________________^ ! What an exciting, little Pokémon! I think that will definitely become one of my favorites; I'm really hoping for an awesome evolution!

The camping idea is really neat, especially since you can visit other trainers' camps. I really like how they've given the control of customization to the players as well. It's something that Pokémon keeps giving more and more of.

I'm super stoked for this game (even if all of the Pokémon won't make it in... RIP)!

DID SOMEONE SAY COOKING FOR POKÉMON?!
I'm sorry, I get really excited over those kind of features! I probably won't get the game, but I will watch an entire playthrough for that. I love the new Pokémon, too! The Polteageist one is adorable, and the other is a bird. Can't go wrong with bird.

Yes. All of the yes.

As for the new Pokémon, I really like both of them. Cramorant's ability is hilarious, and Polteageist is easily going to be a part of my team simply because I freaking love tea. *_*

Also Alcremie coming in different flavors changes everything and I want to set up a whole team of different ones now (I thought that green one was shiny for a moment, but it's apparently just mint-flavored).:D

And of course, it goes without saying I also love the wide range of character customization they've shown off. Loving the new shirts~

As somebody who still doesn't like any of the starter Pokémon, this announcement could have been better. I think Sword and Shield will be okay as games and pretty good as Pokémon games, but I need to see some starter evolutions. It really is strange how long they are holding off on this, but I guess the surprise will be good?

I love both of the new Pokémon revealed. Cramorant's ability is awesome, and Polteageist...it's a freaking ghost possessing tea and living inside of a tea pot. I love it. It's hilariously awesome.
