Fallen Castle (closed.)

As one of the Pokémon who recently heard and explosion, Mina ran as fast as she could at the edge of the forest. Maybe some sort of clue there could lead her to her family. However, what she saw was just a large crowd of Pokémon. Mina couldn’t inspect the place further, but she was determined to stay. However, when a powerful roar came from nowhere, Mina’s short stature made her lose balance immediately.

“Whoa, what’s happening?” As the ground shook, she could hear the rumbling sound of rocks falling at the edge of the cliff. She had to move away fast if she didn’t want to get caught in this dangerous situation. Mina tried running, but instead, ended up rolling down the slope as she couldn’t stand up properly. “Someone please help, anyone!!”

 

"Owwie!" Shizaru groaned as he got hit by a feather from the Starly, who was saying something he couldn't hear. "Why am I always the one getting hit?" the Sableye lamented, teleporting near the Scyther. Unaware (or uncaring) of the shocked looks from the large horde of Pokémon, he glared at the two, who seemed like they were going to leave. "Hey, come back you twi-"

The ghost-type was cut off when he heard a large roar, followed by the cliff shaking wih rocks falling. "Ehh!??" he exclaimed as the ground below him suddenly gave way. "EHHH!!?"

 

As Mina kept rolling to who knows where, all she could do was scream out of fear. No one was out there looking out for her this time, not her mother or sister. She felt like she was all alone. This was certainly not something she usually felt - Mina was always very calm, but this was probably a matter of life and death. She still wanted to see her family and she just couldn’t die from this.

All Mina could feel was the wind carrying her to a strange place, before making contact with something... Wait - was that a head? The Hatenna looked behind her and finally made out a figure. Mina just hit a Sableye in his head!

 

"Uwaaaah!" Sableye shouted as he flailed around, trying to slow down his fall even a little, which clearly was not working. "AAAAHH, I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIEEEE!!!"

Suddenly, a lightbulb flickered on inside the ghost type's head. "Why didn't I think of that before!?" he facepalmed, suddenly becalmed as he gestured into a 'thinking' position. Looking down, he saw a small patch of bush that looked soft enough to land on if one wasn't falling from the sky. "Eureka!" he exclaimed, teleporting himself so that he was on top of the bush. Because he wasn't falling from the sky anymore and he positioned himself in a way that wouldn't cause injury when hit with a strong force, the thief was able to escape unscathed-

Until a weird hat-like Pokémon crashed into him making him tumble and hit his head, knocking him out.

I have noticed that I've become the comic relief of this RP

 

Mina, who had just hit a Sableye, fell on top of him, breaking her fall. As Mina tried standing back up, she couldn't help but groan, "Ow ow ow ow... that hurt..."

When she was finally able to stand up, she moved her "hands" to put her hat back into place (which doesn't even move in the first place). She then turned around and finally assessed the situation - "Oh dear, I am so sorry mister!" Mina then begins to gather energy from the moon, using the energy to perform Moonlit Pulse, healing the Sableye's injuries, but not exhaustion.

"Please be okay, please be okay..."

 

"Aughh..." Shizaru groaned tiredly as he awoke groggily. "Ehh, where am I?" he muttered, only half-awake as he drunkenly turned his head back and forth, eyes landing on the Hatenna. "Ahhhhh... ahh!" he exclaimed suddenly, standing up as he finally remembered the previous events. "I FELL FROM A CLIFF!! The Great Shizaru actually fell from a cliff!" he wailed, pacing back and forth in a way which would seem confusing to others. He then remembered the Pokémon that he found himself looking at. "Eh, who are you?" he asked innocently, a question mark appearing above his head.

 

Mina cocked her head to the side. “The... Great Shizaru? Did he give himself that nickname?” This was definitely a strange fellow in Mina’s eyes indeed. As his eyes fell onto her, asking who she was, she spoke calmly.

“I’m Mina, um, the one who hit your head as you were falling?” Mina thought that it was a strange way to introduce herself, but then again, Shizaru was a weird person himself that she found it only fitting. The two were on the same boat, however, as Mina was still trying to recover from the headache that resulted from their collision mid air.

“I’m glad you’re doing better now, looks like my abilities helped out even just a little.”

 

"You have healing powers? That's so cool~!" Shizaru exclaimed, eyes sparkling at the small Pokémon. "I mean, you were the one that gave me a reason to be healed but still, you're awesome!" he added, making a v-sign with his claws. "Anyway, where are we? I haven't been to this area before," Shizaru remarked, looking around the wide field the two were in, which was teeming with life. The wind rushed through the golden grass as Caterpie, Weedle and Wurmple played in its shades. A few Rattata were seen scurrying about, with the occasional Pidgey or Taillow perching on a low branch. A herd of Tauros and Mareep were grazing nearby, while a group of Jumpluff floated in the air. Unlike the crowded village the Sableye was accustomed to, this place seemed closer to nature; even the small huts were made of straw and wood. Overall it looked like something from a fairytale...
"Oi, my iteeeemmsssss!!!" Shizaru shouted as he saw a Rattata gnawing on his forgotten rucksack nearby. He quickly ran towards his back and shooed the rodent, inspecting his bag of trinkets hurriedly. When he saw nothing was out of place he sighed in relief, sitting on the ground.

 

"Thank you," Mina calmly responded to Shizaru's excitement over her powers. It warmed her heart that she somehow helped this fellow without any help. Perhaps Mina was beginning to grow stronger? Shaking the thoughts off her head, she looked upon the wide field they ended up in. "Lots... and lots.... of Pokémon... oh dear!" Mina was clearly panicking. There was a lot of Pokémon twice or even thrice her size! Trembling, she moved behind Shizaru in a panic.

"Um, s-so what do we d-do now?" Mina asked in a scared manner, breath shaky from the thought of getting crushed. She couldn't help but jump back and yelp when some Tauros began running past Mina and Shizaru, slightly shaking the ground from their force.

 

"Geez Mina, you're such a scaredy-cat, or hat, whatever you are," Shizaru said, looking at the Pokémon behind him weirdly. "Anyway, we have two options now~!" he declared, raising his hand in the air with two outstretched claws. "Option one, we try climbing back the cliff," he stated, pointing towards the looming wall of dirt that the ghost-type was atop a few moments before. "Which may cause us to slip and fall to our deaths," the Sableye shuddered, remembering how it was due to his awesome skills (and maybe a little luck) that he was able to survive the fall. "Second option, we go straight ahead!" Shizaru exclaimed, pointing the opposite way. "Venturing into uncharted territory, lands unknown, maybe even filled with treasure~!" the thief grinned, eyes sparkling in excitement. "So, what do you think we should do, eh?"

 

At that point, Mina was dead set on climbing the cliff, wanting to avoid the Pokémon, but they would be the ones ending up dead if they tried scaling it. When the ground had shuddered from the force of the Tauros earlier, small rocks began falling from the sides of the cliff, which would mean that it was unsafe to try and scale.

Mina looked at the deep darkness ahead of them and sighed. “Unless we have a death wish, I suppose the b-best way to take is straight ahead. I don’t think we - especially me since I don’t have real hands - could climb up this cliff even if we were careful.”

 

"Alright, then let's go!" Shizaru exclaimed as he attached a Shadow Bungee to his new companion. "You might wanna hang on to this," he remarked, a spring in his step as he quickly dashed forward. The Pokémon with him was launched into the air like a kite at the speed the Sableye was moving, but he didn't notice. He was just too excited at the prospect of a new adventure~ Racing through the wide plains, the ghost-type grinned to himself as he felt the wind rush against him. "I'm all fired up now!"

 

Immediately noticing shadow wrapping around her, Mina spoke “What are you-“ but was unable to finish as she was launched high in the air. All she could do was scream in shock and fear, flailing around. That was definitely an uncomfortable experience - Mina isn’t really good with Dark and Ghost types, and she doesn’t fully trust them.

“Get us down from here alrea-“ A loud, crashing sound filled the plains as they finally made contact with the ground. Mina landed face first, once again unable to finish her sentence. The Hatenna could literally picture Psyducks running above her head in a circle. “Ooh... one... two... five... how many are there?”
