Funnily enough, chameleons. After I decided Kecleon was my favorite Pokémon, I took a bit to look up more about chameleons, and I found that they're a very fascinating type of reptile. Although, there are certain types of snakes that are very fascinating as well.
You can choose one starter Pokémon of each type (fire water grass) from any gen, which would you pick? What would you ideal team of 6 Pokémon look like if you could have them irl? Would you rather have 1. A car that never breaks down, needs gas or wears down OR 2. A house that never needs repairs, never needs to be cleaned and has unlimited electricity?
Cyndaquil, Squirtle, and Rowlet, respectively. Staraptor to fly me around to places, a female Meowstic to be a study buddy, Roserade to help with gardening and aromatics, Primarina to teach me how to swim a lot better than I can now, Cinderace to hype me up for some sports, and finally Kecleon, because of course. Option 2, hands down. I think that having a house that doesn't need as much maintenance would be much more pleasant than the car. Plus, I know enough about car maintenance to get by. Probably some spaghetti and a ton of roasted potatoes. Not to brag, but I love to make roasted potatoes, and I feel I'm pretty darn good at it.
That's a tight starter squad, gotta say. Those would be pretty similar to my own choices, except Squirtle is swapped for mudkip. If you had 24 hours to spend 1 million dollars, what would you do? How would you spend it? (don't be afraid to go a little in depth!) Would you rather be able to fly super sonic speeds and breath in the upper atmosphere (but not space) or swim super fast and be able to breath underwater (and be immune to water pressure of course)?
Pay for a new apartment and/or a new car, so I can finally move out of my parent's house. After that, splurge on game and other personal, "fun" stuff, and that should be more than enough to burn through all of it. I love the idea of flight over swimming (I do have a particular affinity for birds), so call me Superman, because I'd choose to fly. Considering my years of practicing Spanish (that I really should refresh myself on), Barcelona is a pretty easy choice here.
Oh, plenty! Monarch butterflies in particular like to swarm our home every summer, but there are quite a few other types of butterflies that I've seen. And moths as well, I've seen a number of really cool moths as well.
This was a really tricky question to answer, as I am very satisfied with Kecleon's move pool as a whole. (I mean, it obviously has room for bigger and better moves, but who doesn't?) However, after thinking on this for an extended length of time, I feel I've come up with a pretty satisfactory answer. Psycho Shift. You see, in the competitive scene, Kecleon is placed dead within PU/ZU, with its saving grace being its really good Special Defense and the flexibility it brings with Protean. However, Kecleon has only a moderate Attack stat, and its Defense is even worse, leading it to be taken out by both defensive walls and physical powerhouses respectively. And, on top of this, he is eviscerated by status moves to which he has absolutely no answer to. However, if he were to be granted Phycho Shift, than this wouldn't be nearly the issue for him that it is, as he can just simply transfer the status condition he was afflicted with back to his opponent. It may not be the best idea to damage his current optimized movement that Smogon put together, but it could be experimented on to see if it could turn out a really nice alternative set for him. And it could work canonically as well, as this move shares a lot of similarities to other moves like Skill Swap and Role Play, which Kecleon has access to. Plus, he can already get egg moves like Dizzy Punch from Spinda, and Spinda has access to Psycho Shift itself via chain breeding. So, I feel like this is a very optimal move for Kecleon to have here. Eh, decent. I could write out my name, and possibly a few sentences, but I'm not great at handwriting. Spending most of my time using a keyboard, either physical or touchscreen, doesn't really help either.
That is a very difficult question to just drop on someone like that. Off the top of my head, I think Rowlet is an adorable ball of bird, Bagon is really a charming little guy considering its desire to fly by jumping off cliffs constantly, and you can't go wrong with Pikachu and Eevee, especially when you look at thise two in the Let's Go games. There's probably other ones that I like better, but these are the ones that pop into my head at the moment. I would love to visit Japan. I've grown up with that culture for years via anime, and I would just love to get to experience all of the different experiences in Japan with my own eyes. (In particular, I am dying to visit the Shibuya district of Tokyo, since one of my favorite games of all time, The World Ends With You, primarily takes place there.) I don't wanna sound cliche, but it would be Kecleon. I really like the blue stripe instead of the red, don't get me wrong, but the missed opportunity of making the purple Kecleon the shiny form hurts every time I see it, particularly when they add it as a character in the Mystery Dungeon games.
The answer should be obvious by now. That's right. Flygon. I always thought that it was weird that they never gave Flygon, one of the most popular Pokémon from Gen III, a Mega-Evolution during ORAS, at least. Plus, considering it could be much better competitively, it would be a major help to the Pokémon.
So do you think Color change should change the color of Kecleon in its newer models? Or do you think its better that it doesnt so its up to the opponent to check/remember? Spoiler: Like this for example:
