The energy dragon's power also extends to the other Pokémon. [This power...it's amazing!] Tintri squeaks.

Brock readies an arrow to dispel a magical barrier around the huge Drapion...

Glancing at Cobalt, Marissa quickly deduced from his pose and his Charizard's new form that it must be the "Key Stone" variant of Mega Evolution. And glancing at Brock, Marissa contemplated whether she should follow suit or not. But there's no time to dawdle -- she had to act quick. "Welp, let's test it out then. Max Ge- I mean, G-Max Hydrosnipe!" her tongue nearly slipped as she called out the attack's name. In response, the Gigantamaxed Inteleon shot a powerful bullet (?) of water at the mysterious barrier in front of the Drapion only to be countered with a Bug Buzz at him.

(Aight. Here are some rules (?) I'll go with:
    • I'll do RNG rolls for regular attacks with 1-25 as miss, 26-74 as normal hit, and 75-100 as critical hit.
    • Max moves can't miss on dynamaxed mons due to their huge size. For non-dynamaxed ones, it depends on how the target reacts.
And as for the magical barrier, I'd say that it can withstand 8 "bars" of attacks with OHKO and max moves destroying two "bars" instead of one. Does it sound good?)

(Aight then. So that makes the barrier 6/8 intact now. I'll do the RNG rolls once everyone make a move for each.)
Mega Charizard X: Dragon Dance (attack + speed boost)
    Sniper: G-Max Hydrosnipe (barrier 6/8)
Drapion: Bug Buzz (awaiting RNG roll)
(That's what I got so far. What will everyone else do?)

Brock's arrow completely dispels the barrier!

    Tintri uses Thunderbolt!
Namida uses Rain Dance to support Sniper!
Satomi uses Calm Mind to boost everyone's Attack and Defense!

(On the second thought, I should make these changes:
    • The "miss" RNG range is 1-25 instead of 1-45.
    • The max moves never miss on dynamaxed mons due to their huge size. For non-dynamaxed ones, I'll leave how they react up to whoever controlling the target.
Edited my previous post about it to reflect the changes.)

Mega Charizard X: Dragon Dance (attack + speed boost)
    Sniper: G-Max Hydrosnipe (barrier 6/8)
Drapion: Bug Buzz at Sniper(RNG: 11 - miss)
    Brock: Arrow shot (barrier 0/8)
Namida: Rain Dance (rain on the field)
Tintri: Thunderbolt (RNG: 5 - miss)
Satomi: Calm Mind (attack + defense boost on self + allies)
With the arrow shattering the barrier, the dynamaxed Drapion should, theoretically, be open to attacks. But unfortunately for both Tintri and the Drapion, the downpour from Namida's Rain Dance hindered the former's sight to the point of their Thunderbolt missing and the latter's Bug Buzz to fall on deaf ears. Marissa though, saw the rain as a blessing, for it would strengthen water-type attacks (including Max Geyser and G-Max Hydrosnipe) from everyone involved. Once again, Sniper shot a G-Max Hydrosnipe from his position only to be retaliated by a Max Ooze from the Drapion. This might as well turn into a dynamax showdown if one were to ignore everyone else in the raid.

And thanks to the distraction, Vivian managed to grab the threatened Alolan Vulpix and bring them both to safety.
    Sniper: G-Max Hydrosnipe on Drapion
Drapion: Max Ooze on Sniper (attack boost)
Field: rain - 1/5 (boosts water attacks, weakens fire attacks, Thunder and Hurricane never miss)
    Dynamax Drapion: attack +1
    Mega Charizard X: attack +2, defense +1, speed +1
    Sniper: attack +1, defense +1
    Rocky: attack +1, defense +1
    Tintri: attack +1, defense +1
    Namida: attack +1, defense +1
    Satomi: attack +1, defense +1

(Be warned that the Drapion can reform the barrier, so Brock and/or Marissa may have to make multiple shots. It can also make multiple layered barriers, so both of them have a chance to get in an arrow shot)

    (oh, ok)

Seeing his allies take down the shield, Cobalt quickly ordered his starter, "Alright Charizard, Dragon Claw!" Both of the Charizard's hands get covered in bluish energy as it rushes towards the Dynamax Pokémon. With its boosted attack it swings its claws in an X shape at the Drapion.

Sniper: G-Max Hydrosnipe (auto-hit on dynamaxed mon)
Drapion: Max Ooze on Sniper (auto-hit on dynamaxed mon, attack boost)
Mega Charizard X: Dragon Claw (RNG: 41 - hit)
Tintri: Thunder (auto-hit due to the rain, RNG: 3 - paralyzed)
Namida: Water Pulse (RNG: 32, 84 - hit, not causing confusion)
Rocky: Earth Power (RNG: 88, 72 - critical hit, no stat drops)
Satomi: Psyshock (RNG: 24 - would've missed anyway due to Drapion's types: poison/dark)

As much as the Drapion wanted to focus on Sniper, they could barely do it thanks to more attacks coming their way. Satomi's Psyshock kinda missed even though her target could've shrugged it off anyway. It didn't last long however, for Rocky's Earth Power (which was both super effective and a critical hit) managed to catch the foe beyond off guard. Namida's powered-up Water Pulse and Tintri's no-miss Thunder did quite a number on the Drapion to the point of the latter stunning them big time. As a result, Charizard's Dragon Claw felt as annoying as a persistent fly buzzing around them.

And then the paralyzed Drapion became an easy target for Sniper's one last G-Max Hydrosnipe before the latter reverting back to his normal form. Welp, can't be helped then, Marissa shrugged. I mean, she did know that a trainer's Pokémon can dynamax only after using three moves due to the Dynamax Band's limitation, but she digressed.

    Drapion: paralyzed (one-turn stun)
Sniper: G-Max Hydrosnipe (auto-hit on dynamaxed mon)
Field: rain - 2/5 (boosts water attacks, weakens fire attacks, Thunder and Hurricane never miss)
    Dynamax Drapion: attack +1
    Mega Charizard X: attack +2, defense +1, speed +1
    Sniper: attack +1, defense +1
    Rocky: attack +1, defense +1
    Tintri: attack +1, defense +1
    Namida: attack +1, defense +1

Cobalt took a quick look at the Pokémon fighting on his side. He cannot use Earthquake, it will hit them as well. He needed a big hit so he can use one of his stronger moves.

"Charizard, Flare Blitz!!" Cobalt hollered. Charizard got covered in blue flames and rushed at high speed at the huge Drapion.

Ash analyzed Drapion with his Pokédex. "It's weak to Ground moves, and Earth Power worked before. Psychic moves won't do a thing..."

He pockets the Pokédex. "Tintri, try Disarming Voice!"

Jao wiisha nes chiel com yutuul... Tintri's tiny voice rings through the den.

Inspired, Dawn calls "Satomi, use Dazzling Gleam!"

"Rocky, use Drill Run!" Brock calls.

"Namida, help Rocky with Mud Shot!" Misty calls

    Drapion: paralyzed (one-turn stun)
Sniper: G-Max Hydrosnipe (auto-hit on dynamaxed mon)
Mega Charizard X: Flare Blitz (RNG: 71, 18 - hit, no burn)
    Tintri: Disarming Voice (auto-hit)
Satomi: Dazzling Gleam (RNG: 27 - hit)
Rocky: Drill Run (RNG: 72 - hit)
Namida: Mud Shot (RNG: 94 - critical hit, speed drop on Drapion)

Seems like the giant Drapion was having a bad time this turn. For starters, Namida's Mud Shot and Satomi's Dazzling Gleam blinded them big time. Tintri's Disarming Voice too, managed to disorient the purple scorpion even further. This allowed Rocky's Drill Run and Charizard's Flare Blitz to strike (despite the latter's weakened power due to the rain). And thus, the Drapion had to raise another barrier -- two layers this time.

Oh, great. Not even Hydrosnipe could deal with this thing, Marissa mentally groaned. She looked around for any clues... only to find Sniper facing her and made an archery pose. "Wait, what? Me?" the girl stammered a little, to which her Inteleon nodded with a smirk and turned to Brock. With Marissa quickly catching on, she readied an arrow at the barrier while glancing at Brock, awaiting his lead...

(Let's get the archers to move first this turn.)
Field: rain - 3/5 (boosts water attacks, weakens fire attacks, Thunder and Hurricane never miss)
Dynamax Drapion: attack +1, speed -1, barrier 2/2
    Mega Charizard X: attack +2, defense +1, speed +1
    Sniper: attack +1, defense +1
    Rocky: attack +1, defense +1
    Tintri: attack +1, defense +1
    Namida: attack +1, defense +1
    Satomi: attack +1, defense +1

A glittering green arrow dispelled the first layer. "I'll leave you the honor of breaking the barrier." Brock smiled, aware of Rocky bracing himself for Marissa's shot. "Wait, Rocky." he gently assured the excited Dusk Lycanroc.

The glittering green arrow from Brock made Marissa shudder a little. She hadn't even learned how to enchant her arrows yet. Regardless, she managed to muster up a nod to her fellow archer and get her focus back to the barrier. She then shot an arrow of her own which, well, surprisingly worked. And that should be enough to make the Drapion vulnerable once more.

    Brock: Arrow shot (barrier 1/2)
    Marissa: Arrow shot (barrier 0/2)
Field: rain - 3/5 (boosts water attacks, weakens fire attacks, Thunder and Hurricane never miss)
Dynamax Drapion: attack +1, speed -1
