    Seeing Mandy's equally awkward reaction to her own luck, Kenji merely shook his head. So now he drew a Fire Energy which was then attached to one of his benched mons (spoiler: it's not the Charmander from before) and attacked with another round of Low Kick. Again.

    Well, yeah, Machop's out. Kenji discarded the card along with the energy card attached to it. "Now I'm gonna go with..." Kenji turned to his bench, then moved that one Pokémon card and its two Fire Energy cards to the active field. "...Legendary Firehorse Ponyta."

    Indeed, Kenji needed more time to set up an evolution -- whatever it might be. But since he had already attacked last time, he had to wait for Mandy to do something on her turn. I mean, it's not like he could read her mind or anything, right?
