As artists, we all undoubtedly have some sort of preference. Of the above, what do you like drawing more? ♡
Out of the three, I prefer drawing humans because... well, I can only draw humans. It's something I've been casually working on since the end of my 8th grade year, and I never really bothered to learn anything else. In the almost non-existent event I draw something other than a human, it looks like a 10 year old's doodles or my old art that scars minds ;w;
I much prefer to draw humans over anything, I find them easier then trying to get items in proper scale and such.
Humans defiantly. It's quite funny because I had a hard time drawing humans in the past. I used to be able to draw animals a lot and I still do but not as much like I used to.
Animals for sure. Humans just have too many joints and shtuff in general and scenery is fairly neutral.
Humans, because they're easy in comparison to anything with four legs. ... Seriously how do legs work? HOW TO DRAW BACK LEG!?
I used to only be able to draw cats and my humans looked terrifying. Now I usually draw humans as I find them easier than most things. Backgrounds, though... Oh geez, I can not draw backgrounds...
I prefer drawing animals overall. My background art is decent. Human anatomy though... still eludes me. I need to practice that more. ^^;
I mostly do human characters, and then only portrait style. I can draw various animals, but I like humans better.
Humans or chibi bipedal animals (think animal crossing). But I can draw all three! =3 Unrelated but I need to draw more dragons. I want to get more practice in.
I've been drawing alot of humans in the past few weeks, but I prefer to draw more animals. I draw too many cats, actually....
I prefer to draw humans more because most of my favorites are humans. Putting my trashiness aside, I just draw more of them, so I prefer it more. I also draw animals... but the only animals I can draw... are anthros. Yep. I just like the extra part of customization of the character instead of a plain cat or something. It's super fun to play around with the possibilities!
I think objects or natural object because they don't move or have complex anatomy so there's less moments where I'm wanting to burn the drawing with fire. I think natural object like flower is the best because natural organic things have flaws in them so it's less noticeable whether you get it "right right" or not, because there are kinks and bends and notches in all sorts of natural things anyway.
I found out that I can't really draw living things. This narrows down my options considerably. The things I tend to draw are usually just my trying to draw or emulate an existing drawing or object - namely I pull up a bunch of source images/material, and try to reproduce it the best I can. It's a bit of a challenge, but I do have a good sense of direction. If I'm not doing that, though, I'm fairly comfortable with objects, because they're very geometric and neat in nature. Living beings have a lot of curves, quirks, and other small bits that require a lot of detail (and attention to thereof), which take a lot of time and effort for me to accurately capture or emulate. Granted, if I'm drawing something existing, I have something to work with, but I'll sometimes go through 3 attempts of trying to draw this one bump on the back or shoulder before I'm satisfied and move on to the next thing.
Humans, because that's the only one that I've had enough practice on, and therefore I am decent at it. That being said, I love looking at drawings of beautiful cats and would like to one day be able to draw beautiful cats as well
