    - Lake Valor has moved to Xenforo. Here's to a new chapter of LV and updates & changes!

    - Several functions will be missing, most important ones temporarily. Use our bug reports thread stickied in this section to report any issues you might have.

    - To those of you that asked to keep your adoptables and treasures on LV or on Discord, we'll be handing those out starting today.

    Please note these might not appear on your profile or postbit, if you want to see them you'll have to go to your Inventory (linked via the Shop dropdown in the navigation) and click Settings on the item. You can enable the item to show in your postbit and profile there. We intend upon making a full guide for the shop and all of its functions, so keep an eye out.​

    All adopts and treasures have now been handed out! This process was very slow and it wouldn't have been done so fast without the help of @Eclipse and @Karzarill! To look through your inventory and unhide everything go to https://lakevalor.net/index.php?dbtech-shop/inventory and click the settings button to make it active! You may also click configure to name your adoptable too! If you notice and discrepancies of your adopts or treasures feel free to PM me or DM me.

    Valor Battle is once again open and full operational! We've made one key change to the guidelines:

    To use a Pokémon it MUST be set in your Postbit. You can choose which Pokémon appear in your Postbit left of your posts by going to your inventory and enabling the mons you want to display, then disabling the ones you don't. To enable/disable an adoptable (and any shop item that may appear in your postbit), click Settings next to the adoptable.
    This replaces adoptable teams which were previously on LV. Come find a battle today!

    The Pokémon BBCode has been re-added to the editor! Thanks to @Chris for bringing it to my attention. It is fully updated with all Pokémon, forms, and shiny forms. To use it, the code is:


    Additionally, SSL encryption should now be 100% functional. If you notice any problems or pages where the green lock does not appear, please let me know.

    A bug with the shop where user customization options could be obtained for free has been fixed, and any items taken for free from the shop have been removed. If you rightfully purchased these items with PokePoints, they still remain on your account. Thanks to @luxuryluxray for pointing this out.

    There was an issue when editing a post you would lose a bit of PP. This has now been changed so you no longer lose PP, we are sorry for any PP you may have lost in this time. Thank you for those of you who reached out to let us know what was going on!

    - You can now donate PokéPoints to other users by clicking their number of PokéPoints in their Postbit (the block left of all their posts).

    - The issue with avatars not updating correctly has been fixed.
    - The "Donate" tab for PokePoints has been made easier on the eyes, and slightly reorganized.

    - The "é" issue in variants of the words Pokémon, PokePoint, and Pokéball should now be fixed everywhere beside tags.
    - The issue where certain characters would be replaced with various symbols should also be fixed.
    - You can now see which users are currently viewing a thread at the bottom!

    If you notice any other weird stuff like this, let me know! None of the old BBcode can be fixed, unfortunately.

    - Several Google Fonts have been added to the editor. Please note that any Google Font will work, but only a few are displaying right now. More will likely be added in the future.
    - The "Users Online Today" feature has returned to the bottom of the page.
    - When creating a thread, a list of similar threads will appear. This is to help people who want to create threads, but don't want to create one that already exists.
    - The new search system has been added. Miss the old one? Not to worry! Choosing "Advanced Search" or "Useful Searches" on the search bar menu will allow you to use the previous version.
    - The filter that automatically changes Pokémon to Pokémon has been removed. The reason for this is that the search system will not search for filtered words, and this effect was due to a filter. If we can figure out another way to add this in the future, we definitely will!
    - The footer now matches the width of the forum list, thanks to some custom development we had done.

    - Fixed an issue where PokePoints were being rewarded at higher values than intended when posting and creating threads. Consider it a boost for Postfest/being on the new version of LV rather than an oversight on my part (save my dignity)
    - A new currency, Battle Points, has been added! These points are awarded only when posting in the Valor Battle area, at a ratio of one point per post. Get battling!

Whilst we highly advise against spamming in The Lounge, if you have a sillier, more light hearted thread that you'd usually put in the Spambox, consider where it'd go elsewhere now. Got a funny Pokémon meme to discuss? Post it in Pokémon General! Got a cool video that you want opinions on? Post it in The Lounge, ect. If in doubt about what's ok to be posted on LV, check out our Global Rules.

    *The Lounge still counts towards your post count.

    - Each forum has a pretty little cover now like on the old LV.

    - We have a new section to discuss Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon! Hype.

    - Some forums have shifted around! Events is now hidden (will only appear when there are events active), Celebrations is under The Lounge and Articles is on the index once again.
    - We have plans in regards to letting users submit their own articles to LV! If you like writing, keep your eyes peeled as we'll announce our plans soon.
    - We have some plans to do some more visual updates to LV soon, so keep an eye out!

    Two quick but important updates!

    - The signature height limit has dropped from 500 to 400 pixels. You must adjust your signatures accordingly when able! We felt this was the right decision to make as the previous limit was very tall. This was not standard for what is a signature (aka something that displays at the end of every post of yours). This way, it'll take up less space in the thread but you'll still have a good chunk of freedom to make your signatures look nice.

    - The Games Corner no longer counts towards your total post count and PokéPoints won't be awarded for posting there.

    Sorry for the doom and gloom, but I assure you we have some more exciting updates coming soon. Just stay patient and keep enjoying the Summer Scramble!
