Neil nodded and sighed, "You know, your cheerful attitude makes this so much easier," before getting up and stretching, "Come on, let's go."
Corrin followed Neil, ignoring Impmon's protesting whines. The group continued to scale the mountain bit by bit. It was ery long and tiring.
Even Terriermon was starting to tire as he asked, "Neil, can you have me Digivolve to a form that can fly?" Neil shaking his head and rolling his eyes, the rabbit turning to Impmon and growling, "Not a word!"
Impmon grinned mischeviously. "What's wrong? Scared of a little walking?" The purple digimon threw Terriermon's earlier words back at him, a smirk on his face as he did so.
Terriermon raised his arms only for Neil to lift him up and place him on his back, sighing, "I swear, you're such a drama queen," Terriermon retorting, "Drama KING, thank you." Suddenly, both went wide-eyed when a Tuskmon appeared behind them and roared, charging and aiming the horns on his shoulders at the group.
Impmon yelped as Corrin lifted him up and ran like their lifes depended on it, and they did. While she ran away from the Tuskon she took out her digivice and began mashing the buttons, gritting her teeth in anxiety.
Neil tried doing the same, sighing, "Why does this thing even have a button!?" Terriermon sending a blast into the dinosaur's face only to show no results, groaning, "Well, that failed."
Impmon didn't even bother to send a Bada Boom this time around as he knew it'd be useless. Instead he clung on Corrin and prayed to the deities out there that the Digivice would work soon.
Corrin dived into the cave in the nick of time. Both she and Impmon tumbled forward as they did, the Tuskmon frustrated roars sounding outside.
Neil breathed a sigh of relief and looked around, saying, "Good, there's a tunnel in here. Hopefully we can find an exit that'll get us out of danger for good."
As they looked around, Neil spotted many drawings along the wall. One in particular had the picture of the Digivice with a heart beside it, the boy blinking.
"Hey! Isn't this your digivices?" Impmon pointed out the rather obvious drawing. Corrin was struck speechless. "I guess that means we're close to figuring it out!" The Purple digimon said in excitement.
Impmon shrugged. "Who knows? Maybe the digimon the Elder told us about can trll us though." Corrin grinned. "Let's get going then!"
As soon as the group found the end of the tunnel, Neil's eyes widened when the Tuskmon seemed to followed them on the roof and leapt right in front of them, roaring threateningly.
Corrin gulped and immediately tried to activate her Digivice, while Impmon fired useless Bada Booms. "Now would be a good time to Digivolve!" The purple digimon yelled at them.
As Tuskmon raced toward the group with his mouth open, the devices finally glowed as Terriermon became Gargomon and shouted, "BUNNY PUMMEL!" sending his fist hard into the dinosaur's face.
At the same time Impmon glowed and Wizardmon stood in his place, much to Corrin's releif. The Digimon raised his staff before pointing it towards the Tuskmon. "THUNDER BALL!" A glowing electrical sphere hit the opponent in its arm, causing it to roar in pain.
