Hey everyone, Pixel here with your regular dose of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon news for Lake Valor! In an interview with Pokémon game director Kazumasa Iwao conducted by GameInformer, a new gameplay mode was revealed for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. This mode, called "Alola Photo Booth", allows the player and one Pokémon to pose in a variety of ways, and create photos with many special effects added to them. This is very reminiscent of the photo booths that you often see in Japan, which are very popular amongst teenagers, where groups enter and take photos, and then edit these photos with correction effects and fun stickers. In order to take these photos, players must visit a Photo Studio. Although the building was not shown in the footage, it is most likely that it is the new building that was shown in the latest trailer for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, where it stands in Hau'oli City's previously empty plot of land. Although the gameplay footage is mostly a showcase of all the different functions in Alola Photo Booth, it also reveals two small details that haven't been seen in any trailer so far. The first is that the design for the Pokémon Ride outfit has changed a little, and the second is that there were some new Pikachu-themed clothes shown off. Both of these new outfits were being worn by the female player, so it is currently unknown whether the male player's Pokémon Ride outfit will undergo change or if males can purchase these Pikachu-themed clothes. Well, that's it for this news update. Make sure you stay tuned to Lake Valor, where there'll be more in-depth analysis on any information given about the Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. This is Pixel, signing out until next time!
I saw this earlier, and it looks really neat! Taking pictures with your Pokémon sounds like a lot of fun!
I am so hype, I loved getting to dress my Pokémon and do wacky things, this game already has me so hyped!
This reminds me of a comic where the trainer figured out how to do use the front camera, and then used it to take selfies with the Pokémon xD
This is such a cute feature, I can't wait to try it. The cynic in me knows people are going to find ways to do horrible things with this though.
