I also happen to dislike Alolan Persian. I was expecting it to be sleek and elegant due to its dark type typing, but it just looks like it has a plate for a face. Alolan Exeggutor looks horrible too. I can understand why they gave it a long palm tree neck, but I still dislike it.
@Nyanja I know, Grimer and Muk look like a oil spill..and that's not something I want to think about when it comes to tropical islands famous for tourist attractions..

I like all of the Alolan formes, so I can't really pick a 'least favourite'. Gaijin Goombah explained several of them, TheJWittz used a couple of them in his LP of Sun, and I just overall like the rest of them.
Alolan Dugtrio. I WOULD say Alolan Persian but Alolan Meowth was my first ever shiny catch so I have a bit of a soft spot for it.

I actually pretty much dislike all the Alolan forms save for Vulpix, Grimer/Muk, and Marowak (although I've never really cared for the latter, or the Cubone line in general). I believe for Dugtrio, the hairs are like... steel strands or something like that. Doesn't change the fact it does look rather stupid. I could go on and on about the others, but I'll just leave it at that. Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales look ethereal, but my problem are their tails- I don't really like Ninetale's 3D model because it just looks to... I dunno. It looks off. I guess compact would be the word? But I mean, what can you do. It's in the name. Alolan Ninetale's 3D sprite looks kinda awkward to me from the back, I dunno why. I guess the fact there's no real distinction in its tails except towards the end bothers me. I have an Alolan Muk in my Sun game, she's an absolute monster. I adore her. I never really payed attention to the Grimer line until I played Sun, and now Muk is easily my favorite poison type. I wrote so much rip
I ended up liking the alolan forms over time though I disliked them quite a bit at first. The main thing I still hate about them is the fact that they further the strange obsession the devs have started having with gen 1. So, so many other Pokémon could have made better use of those forms and type/stat changes. If I would have to pick one would be Persian just because I feel they could have pulled off the design better. I love Persian cats and I know their faces are squished but the design they went for is too simplified and odd.
I'll be honest, half the Alolan forms disappointed me overall, especially since the first few they revealed were pretty cool. (Well, okay, still not a fan of Exeggutor. It is kind of interesting knowing that's what it was originally supposed to look like, but still) My least favorite, though, is probably a tie between Golem and the Diglet line. Golem used to look awesome. Now he has facial hair and I think that makes it look stupid. Though yeah, I remember seeing fan works presenting Alolan Diglet/Dugtrio with a volcano theme and fire typing. That would have been awesome. Instead we get a form that I swear was meant to be a joke. Diglet... you can barely tell the difference and Dugtrio is impossible to take seriously. And okay, I know what the true thought process behind it was. The hair is actually made of steel (Hence the steel typing), or rather a type of hard glass formed from a volcano. So yeah, there was thought put into it, but it's still impossible to take seriously. I don't care how brilliant their reasoning was.
Grimer. literally the most lazy design ever. "hey what can we do to make grimer look different?" "make him multicolored" *insert alolan grimer and muk*
I do agree when I first encountered Alolan persian just to give to oak I wasn't impressed, ironically I received a loveball which is the last thing I felt for it. But worst Alolan form for me would be Alolan exeggutor, Why does it have a long neck? Why is it DRAGON type of allthings!? it just really, bothers me.
WHY ARE YALL HATING ON ALOLACAT ITS PRECIOUS Aside from that point, I don't like the Diglett line at all. It's silly, sure..! ...but why did it need hair? It makes it look kinda stupid. I don't like the Geodude line as well. Looks ugly.
Not sure why there's so much hate for Alolan Persian, Alolan Dugtrio, even Alolan Exeggcutor. I like all 3. I admit, my least favorite is either Raticate or Muk. Or maybe Golem. Yeah, its Golem.
The only Alolan Form I can really say I dislike is the rattata line. Why did rattata and raticate need Alolan variants? All it did was give them a x4 weakness to Fighting, as well as making them vulnerable to Bug-type attacks. I like Alolan Persian, though I think the rest of its body should have been chubbier and softer-looking to match its face.
Alolan Sandslash. Mostly for its average move set. It looks nice, but that doesn't mean it can battle.
