Now that we have Gen 2 Pokémon here on LV I thought hosting a tournament instead of another giveaway would make sense, especially since it will allow you to use some of your favorites from this generation. Here are some details that are needed to know: This will all be on showdown so you don't have to have a copy of the games to participate. You can choose any Pokémon that are registered in the Johto Dex (essentially all Pokémon from generation 2). This will be Smogon OU Singles which means that the rules that apply to this format will also apply to this tournament (any questions just ask and I will clarify). You don't have to do anything special to enter just let me know that you want to enter and I will comment back to you. The tournament will start this Thursday everyone will have two days to do their contest. While it isn't a big deal, I would like to have everyone to save their battle replays so we can keep track of who has battled. Mega's and Z-moves are banned from this, items are allowed however. The prize for 1st place will be $20, second place gets $10, and semi-finalists get $5 each. These might change if more people join, meaning I might increase some of the prizes.
