Spoilers [Spoilers] Which version will you choose?

Right now, it's way too early to decide. We don't even know the differences between the two yet, aside from the title and logo. If I had to choose solely based on that, though, I'd go with Shield.

 

Probably Shield version, since my brother will most likely choose Sword version, no questions asked.

 

I'm not sure tbh. I bet the sword legendary will be focused around it's devotion to Galar, and the shield legendary would be focused on the protection of Galar. Or something like that lmao. I could be wrong, but I'm gonna need more info before I decide

Based on the logo, Sword is blue so I guess Sword for now

 

I'm not planning on getting any of the games, but if I did, I would probably get shield. As to why, I'm choosing the shield cause of morals. A shields purpose is to protect its weirder and those who they wish to protect.

Yeah, not really a good reason or anything, especially from a person who doesn't play Pokémon.

 

Neither. I plan on just hanging back with gen VII since, well, I don't have the console to likely play gen VIII. And I doubt I will be able to play again for a long-tail time. But if I had the console, definitely Shield. "The Invincible Shield that could block any Spear."

 

It will heavily depend on what types or legendaries we are going to be getting but rn I'm thinking about sword.

 

I'll probably decide based on the game exclusive Pokémon, as well as a vote with my siblings who would be sharing the game with me. Just based on the game symbols and names, I like Sword.

 

I guess this means I'll definitely be buying the cheaper version of the Switch if/when it becomes available. Anyway, I'll almost definitely go for the less-popular version, which I think will likely be Shield. I'm a type who would rather protect my friends than slay my enemies.

 

I want Shield atm, but it depends what version the bf gets! If he ends up getting Shield, I'd get Sword since I prefer having opposite versions. So I guess undecided for now?? haha

 

I need to see the mascot legends and the version exclusives until I make a decision.
At the moment Sword is the most appealing to me, but that's probably because the logo is my favorite colour

 

I'm hedging my bets at the moment (like a lot of others, it seems!), but I'm leaning towards Shield. I've always seen myself as more of a defender than an attacker, so I feel like it fits more with my personality. Of course, there's still plenty of time between now and release for me to change my mind!

 

Even if I'm not going to be able to get the games, I want to get Pokémon Sword. It just sounds cooler than Pokémon Shield. But who knows, I might change my mind once we see what the cover legendaries would look like.

 

Man, I can't really decide since we don't even know the main legendaries yet. I usually decide based on that and the version exclusives but hmm...

My gut is telling me Shield is the one.
