Smash Bros Character Buff Wishlist Thread

You know we all have those characters that we just love to play but it can be painful as they have moves and gimmicks that make them unviable and a chore to play. What’s yours?

Here’s mine!

Ya know Zard was gonna be here. He’s just so bad man. Like dedede was bottom 5 in smash 4 but he was fun. Zard just kinda feels like a pain to play. But he can be decent again if Papa Soccerguy just gave him a couple changes.

Buffs:

Make his nair Ridley nair: Zard’s nair is basically a Ridley nair without the hit box that makes it good. This would be a good get off me tool.

Fair: make his fair more like it was in 4’s where it could short hop auto cancel. This way he’d have more tools in neutral.

Down throw: make it have less knock so that it combos into fair easier

Jab: make it faster so that it’s easier to connect and be much make effective.

Rock smash: he needs it so he can land. It’s just that simple. This bit of super armor in the neutral was very useful for Zard and it was great for pressuring/breaking shields. It also did a good amount of damage when you connected all the rocks.
